I was thinking, wouldn't it be cool if you could choose ANY color in a team match? especially if you have texture hacks this could be useful. but is it doable?

No. Colors are for coordination.

with what is avaiable now, im pretty sure you can replace the three slots occupied by red, blue and green with any colors you want, however you cant just have an endless rainbow of colors to choose from in one sitting.

not sure if this is deserving of its in own thread tho (but then again i might just be stupid)

the point? there are 3 teams and you need to see who is who.

Well maybe not now that I think about it, the idea was to be able to make like a yellow team for those who didn't like red blue or green and to have the ability to play a match on teams with all defaults. (because personally the colors never helped me anymore in teams)

People need to stop saying that it's pointless and actually answer the guys question.
I think it would be an interesting code to use. You could use dark link and black sonic against gold ike and gold bowser or things like that.

But if a code is never made, you could always just play a 4 man ffa and treat it like a team match. You just wouldn't be able to steal lives and the match wouldn't end when only one team dies and the other team has both players left.

I want a gangster team color where when I pick DDD, he plays purple, and when I pick bowser, he's in Bling Bling mode.
