Cool 100% PowerSheild trick for beginner

this'll b known for most cuz it works with a lot of other characters, but I only play Sheik so u guys read it. It's helped me out in the past (still a crutch sometimes cuz it works so well)

basically, perfect power shield 100% of time (if stationary or expecting on flat ground) with no risk of getting hit.
First, some reminders for beginners: basic rule of PS is u can't be light shielding at all, u MUST press all the way thru your L/R bumper (right?)...

The actual trick:
remain ducked when missile/lazer is incoming, and press L or R when it's above your head. It has no choice but to PS it 100% of time. if it didnt, u light shielded by accident; press L/R harder.

I call it Christmas Shielding. Cuz i sing xmas carols while i do it. Not rly but let's call it that!

Very true, those low lazers & even missiles is the Achilles heal of the Xmas sheilding (im rly kidding about that name).
I feel I should reiterate; you can PS reflect projectiles ANY time it's above you OR even when it's moved past your front sheild already. It effectively Powersheilds with any part of sheild. Shows good with lasers, but does it with anything that goes over your head.

But by far the most interesting thing is using it to buffer roll or jump toward the guy throwing projectiles. All you have to do is duck with C-stick buffered in the direction of shooting enemy, & as soon as u press sheild, it will roll & power shield at the same time. You can even wait until the very end of the laser has passed you, & your PS will pick it up! This is my first gfycat & took me like 4 hours cuz i wanted to set up the controller & get good footage & that **** was a whole crazy trip down "streaming lane".....

Other things I was messing with was if u buffer C-down instead while you're ducking, u can PShield + spot-dodge at the same time. So if you don't PS the laser, you'll dodge it instead. It's quite cool. Not in the gfycat tho.
