Controller problem

Hi I didn't know where to ask but my gamecube controller hasnt been working right. Basically every though the c stick is centered the game registers it as if its pulling up, and it only goes back to neutral possition when i pull it all the way down, is there any way to fix this?

hey thanks yeah I tried it and it doesn't work for the c stick

I know this may sound dumb but make sure you aren't pressing anything when you plug in your controller. When it is plugged into the game takes the controller's inputs as the default.

Or you could replace the gimbal itself if you have a soldering iron.
