The concept is to make the text in the action state develop toggle (Y+down) change color during certain animation frames to highlight properties that are not immediately obvious (IASA, autocancel windows, final frame of animation, actionable).
Oftentimes this is done with a color overlay on the character model but these can be distracting and in some cases, like with hurtboxes enabled, difficult to see.
Tying this information to the action state display seems like an elegant alternative and most colors will be easily readable against a dark background (ex: force simple stage geometry).
