Stage textures for Project M

From the 3.0 official change log:
- The camera on all stages was sped up slightly
- SSE Jungle was reskinned with Pikmin elements. Renamed "Distant Planet"
- Pokémon Stadium 1 moved back to page 1
- Added Peach's Castle to Page 2, replaces Mario Circuit
- Added Training Stage to Page 2
- Norfair's platforms now expand and contract further and into more positions. The main platform is larger with a new model, and the entire stage was lowered relative to the blastzones
- Widened the side blastzones of Metal Cavern
- Slightly raised the ceiling blastzone of Warioware
- Raised the ceiling blastzone of the following stages: Distant Planet, Yoshi's Island, Castle Siege, Green Hill Zone, Halberd, Rumble Falls, Norfair, Skyworld, Skyloft, Lylat, Metal Cavern, and Smashville
- Significantly raised the ceiling blastzone of Dracula's Castle
- Numerous Aesthetic improvement to Fountain of Dreams

See that part about the camera? Since the camera data is stored inside of each stage file, that means that every old texture will need to be updated with, at the very least, the new camera. Plus of course there are several stages listed that have blastzone changes or other changes. What I'm going to do is leave all of the 2.x stages at the bottom of this post and start a new list from scratch. Now that we have a complete changelist for the stages, you can see exactly what needs to be edited to update old textures to 3.0.

hotdogturtle note: I'm a bit behind on updating this post, so check the last couple of pages in this thread for some new stages and a few warnings about some stages that aren't fixed. Sorry for the delay, I'll get back to it as soon as I can.

Does the Kongo Jungle-one really have that barrel cannon back this time?
No, it's just a cosmetic addition and doesn't do anything (actually, I'm not sure if it's even in the stage at all).

If anyone finds any broken or outdated links in the first post, let me know. I copied the post from the Smashmods thread but I may have missed some things from the last couple of pages.

I don't really ever play on KJ64 so your guess is as good as mine lol.

Oh well, hopefully we'll get our own Project M workshop subforum/section soon.

And I also got started on reworking my stages.

Now I'm curious what changes were made in 2.5 to the stage list. Most are too subtle to notice.

You didn't include Castle Siege in that list, so I assume that's either because it's not a stage people bother to mod or that the removed middle portion doesn't affect the files for the other transformations.

The list is the only thing that was given to us so far; we don't know the details, aside from the obvious stuff like the new imported models.

As far as Castle Siege goes, I heard that they modified the coding in the main file so the game never tries to load the second stage while transforming. If that's the case then the other 2 files are apparently untouched from before.

I heard from one of the moderators that the skipping of the second transformation in Castle Siege is the codesets work. Nothing to do with the stage files.

Castle Siege skips the 2nd stage and everything else about the stage is untouched besides camera stuff. The skipping of the 2nd stage is not part of the codeset; it's a .rel file in private/app/wii/RSBE/pf/module. It's st_emblem.rel.

I remade something like my old one on the new model (it's actually in the 2.5 download as a secondary color node. the one that's listed first is used). The waves in the floor are red, and it along with the red horizontal bands below the floor and the orb's purple glow pulsate a bit. The red lights on the bottom pieces and the afterimages on the moving parts fade towards blue.

Is this the same one that was included with all of Mewtwo2000's background swaps on BrawlVault? I know it was hidden in the file too, I'm just curious if the one you're posting now is the same or an updated version of it. I've already been using this recolor with the grassland background as temporary replacement until I figure out what do do with my green one.

Thanks, I was planning on adding the file names to all the stages in the first post as well for easy access.

And none of my stage are still not on the list. I'm now starting to now see this as nothing more than a joke, I would give links at the moment but I'm not the computer.
Repost them here; like I said, I never got to update for the last few pages of the old thread before we switched.

All of them come in both the original and blue colors for the stage. They should all be fine on wifi, but they're not tested.
I can confirm that they work on wifi because I've been using the daytime one with the purple base.

Can a mod move this to the new P:M Custom Content forum?

Unless it was intended for some reason, you broke the transparency of the moving parts when editing the color node. I had that the first time I edited it and switched to using a different version of brawlbox.

I really like that SSE: Jungle texture, but I tried using it and it did not work. Does it just not work for 2.5 anymore? Or did I just screw something up?

Xenozoa:
I read in the description that the multicolored+rainbow FD transitions from color to color during a game. Does the other FD that goes from Yellow good to Red evil also transition or how does the switch work?

Only parts of the stage in the rainbow FD will cycle through multiple colors; the outer orb, the rays under the main platform, and lights that appear and disappear on the side. The actual background is just a bunch of flashy colors all at once.

And no, the yellow and red FD's are separate from each other. There's no transition, both are completely different.

Oh, so when you have the 6 or 7 images of different colored FD's, I have to pick which one I want to put on my SD card, and only the rainbow one has the orb and the rays under the platform change color. Same for the Yellow and Red? I can only pick one to put on my SD card.

Xeno, I have another question.

In the way that smashville is different depending on the time of day, why can't you substitute multiple stages for one, so that when you select the stage it randomly picks one. So, if you click Final Destination, you can end up with the red evil one or the holy yellow one and its random.

I really don't know the answer to that. Final Destination just doesn't work like that. But I would assume that if a special code were to be made that allows you to have multiple files of a stage like Final Destination or Battlefield, and have one of them get picked at random (much like Spear Pillar with Dialga/Palkia/Cresellia, or Shadow Moses Island with Ray/Rex/Geckos), it would be possible. But I doubt anyone has really looked into it.

That explains why the lines are like that. Thank you, how can I fix it?
