Ok i think i know how each pixel is defined.

ATM it looks like (ive only been doing this on 1 CLR0 files and this is the only way it seems to match) each pixel is compsed ARGB in 4 bytes.

AARRGGBB

A is alpha
R is red
G is green
B is blue

EG for a solid blue pixel it would be "FF0000FF"

This is the exact format a 32bpp tga file it in.

what exactly are CLR0 files?
CLR0 files control things that textures are not able to take care of.

For one example, Yoshi has a CLR0 file that affects the brightness of his egg. As the egg gets darker, it'll get to a point of breaking.

Mr. G&W has a decent number of CLR0 files too, but at least you can use the GWitizer Beta to modify them.

And of course, some Subspace Emissary enemies have CLR0 files too, such as Roturret and Nagagog. In Nagagog's case, its body colors are controlled by its CLR0 files.

That is a wonderful clarification. Thank you.

So I assume the only issue with editing them up until now has been not understanding the format of it, and how to edit said format?
