Cloud's Up B Landing Oddity

This is likely known as it's not even specific to Cloud - some characters, if they slip off-stage after landing with a move that will send them into a free-fall will still technically be counted as in free-fall as the move hasn't ended yet. At least, I'm sure that's how it works.
It literally just happened to me right now playing Meta Knight after I'd hard-landed with Dimensional Cape on the edge of a moving plat - slipped right off and went into free-fall.
