err so...what exactly is jumpstart lag? im assuming its something to do with how long it takes for a character to actualyl jump after pressing the button, but why would you need to alter that?

I'm not too sure about it, but from Chibo's explanation it seems like Charizard and Bowser have extra frames in their jumps.

Yeah, it's how long it takes you to get off the group when you press jump. Usually 4-6 frames. And Charizard has not been altered from vBrawl. It's all in Chibo's head.
