Mafia (also known as Werewolf or Assassin) is a party game modeling a battle between an informed minority and an uninformed majority. Players are secretly assigned roles: either "mafia", who know each other; or "townspeople", who know only the number of mafia amongst them. In the game's "night" phase the mafia covertly 'murder' a townsperson. During the day phase, all of the surviving players debate the identities of the mafia and vote to eliminate a suspect. Play continues until all of the mafia have been eliminated, or until the mafia outnumber the townspeople. A typical game starts with seven townspeople and three mafioso.

Edit: I also don't like the idea of giving presents when you win, because presents should usually be personalized, and you can't predict who you will play in tourney.

We can get a head count in the thread and estimate based on that if we need to.

Do presents have to be personalized? If you're bringing a few anyway, couldn't you just give one best suited for the people you beat?

you could, but if you know who you have to get a present for ahead of time then you can get something really good

Well bracket can be unexpected, but the "Gift matches" can be for people you specifically think you'll lose too, or might lose to and get a gift for them. If not, we can do Secret Santa in exchange for Gift Matches, idk.
I figured there should be a prize for Mafia too.

We could have silly rules to make it non-serious to avoid anger.

And I'm all for secret santa as well since so many support it.

I'd be down for this. I'll probably just bring a couple presents anyway even if we don't do a secret santa. Or i'll just bring 2 presents. So whoever i lose to in the tourney can get the 2 presents i brought lol

Also, Katie aka RTF and Nick might want to come i don't know. But i know for sure, ill be down to come.

Okay everybody, We are doing Character Limitations, Items (I want PLUR to create this please!) and Stage List.

Character Limitation is where you have to use characters you barely use, that means for me Falcon, Falco, Fox, Young Link are banned for me. Kevin can only use 3 characters, etc.

Items will have a list created by PLUR!

The stage list is currently a WIP but it was the list me and Moo used this weekend when we played items and it went well.
