Why do things have to be hyped to be fun though?

Maybe others would enjoy a lower-key atmosphere and think that's more fun because of all of the different games to play.

Even money matches/pride matches in different games could be hyped so that could happen if needed.

they dont HAVE to. people can bring whatever games they want and do whatever they want, that's the point.... i just think finally doing a tournament that's about at the level of sillyness of octoberfest is so appropriate at this point that it's almost necessary.

It would be better to get everyone on-board though. Guess if it's a free tourney then that'll happen to an extent, but everyone may not be hyped for/agree with the game. I mean do you even have a majority of people going that support it?

Silly is fine and what we're going for, but how we should be silly is the point in question. What if I believed that we could be sillier just playing whatever we wanted to and randomly hyped different stuff like that?

I don't remember saying the atmosphere would be ruined, but it could certainly be a little worse off at some point, now that you mention it. And lol of course anyone you offend is obviously negative.

I know it would be fun lol, I never said it wouldn't be. In fact, I'm for the idea on a similar if not higher level than regular games just being played however. There are a few things that need to be smoothed out though because YOU DON'T PLAN ANYTHING AND THAT CAUSES PROBLEMS CAM.

Everyone organize a different game tournament, then hold them one after another on a schedule so it's not chaos and everything can still happen. Also give breaks for food. Or have Ocean's dad cooking hamburgers there.

So much organization and planning for a low-key fest.

I feel like this completely. With a tournament, that means that someone has to organize it and make sure everyone plays there matches, making it less fun for everyone. Cause then you have someone taking up all there time for organizing and everyone else being annoyed by being told it's time to play there match. And if the tournament isn't run strictly then it will take all day which would take away from free time to do whatever.

All I know is I'm not entering anything. I'm just gonna hang and have fun. Also, did karn's dad's place get confirmed as the location. I hope so.
