hearth: it rhymes with marf and is synonymous with ****ing *******

and yeah, sc is definitely balanced as far as the races as a whole. but if you can figure out what you're opponent is doing though...all bets are off and you can definitely **** a superior force with a little extra preparation. Zerg hydraling can say hi to psionic storm and microed reavers+shuttles as protoss, or tanks+mm+vessels as terran. For every action there is a counter, and some counters are better to use at certain times than others (for example, wraiths counter battlecruisers, but are more expensive than goliaths, which are also pretty good against battlecruisers). It really does take a while to learn stuff in the game, but as you play, it gets easier to pick up what works and what doesn't.
