Hey y'all. Please thank KingJigglypuff for posting these gifs in the social thread. This is simply going to make it easier to find the info he already found. Thank you.

This said, I am 99% sure the dtilt and Flare Blitz gifs are incorrect as there is no hitbox shown on Zard's head (and I'm pretty sure there is). If you can help us get an accurate gif of it, all the Zards would appreciate it. Thank you.

Discuss Zard's hitboxes here, post still images if you want, etc. Personally, I was pleasantly surprised by utilt and dair having hitboxes extend past Zard's body. And if every Zard move got the kind of love bair got, ol' Charizard would probably be a good character...

edit: I take that back, Zard jab is also ridiculously disjointed (we already knew that, but visually seeing the extent... wow). So basically, abuse jab and bair.

Steeler When I was looking through the commands for hitboxes, I realized that the Extended hitboxes have a start and end point. When I was making gifs, I never knew this, so I was only using the starting point. I might update that sometime later.

For Flare Blitz, the hitbox is on its neck, not its head. I have the actual scripts on me, so I can verify that for sure.

Yeah Dtilt I'm 100% sure is not that size, I've hit people further away than what that shows.

Fly needs a better hitbox to cover Charizard's back as well so it fits the animation of the move.

Alright, I got to updating Down Tilt with proper hitbox placements. While the preview shows two hitboxes, the actual hitbox is one hitbox command that starts at point A (where the first hitbox in this preview starts), and extends to point B (where the second hitbox is in this preview).

If I knew how to preview hitboxes like these other users have been doing, then that would make my previewing more efficient.

Its the first two frames of dair. So its the entire dair during those first two frames.

Okay thank you very much. So does that mean that its possible to do the Melee Falcon edge guard with Dair where falcon dairs pretty much into the stage and then the person recovering gets spiked? (The one that wizzrobe used to guard Mango in game 1 first stock)

You mean Dair spike through the stage? That should be totally possible if the stage's lip is thin (e.g. Battlefield) and/or if the opponent extends their hitbox during their Up B (e.g. Falcon)

Probably happened several times; Battlefield is weird. Might have to test if Charizard can do it specifically though.

Yes a huge number of times. It works on any stage.
