To Cinder: I said 'don't ask.' Don't ask. And if Ness is out, the originial unlockable characters 'balance' is uneven.

Many believe Ganondorf will get a new moveset because of all the evidence of him having a sword in Melee. Victory poses, Action Replay codes, and even the silhouette that shows before you unlock him all show him weilding a sword. The only reason that they made him a clone is because they ran out of time and his figure looked closest to Captain Falcon. Also, if Ganondorf replaced Falcon, who would be the F-Zero rep? People think you're dumb because you're not thinking these things through.
And the kid that sits in the back of your math class is not a very good source, because the same interview that showed that Ganon's character model was sent to the SSBB team said that Sheik's was also.

Sakurai would be a fool to take out a character that gained so much between Melee and Brawl, and also a character that is liked by a lot of people.
The game wouldn't make sense without him anyways.

Staple to F-Zero
Series is a staple to the Racing game industry

not really i think shadow has a completely different moveset form sonic with his chaos attacks. but you're right i still don't see him getting in
Man, seriously why does everyone feel a need to get so nasty? It's not like any of us can conclusively prove any of our ideas and opinions anyways. At the end of the day all of this is just speculation, no matter how logically based. I thought this topic was just supposed to be a fun place to speculate on our ideas, not a place to have a titanic flame war.

How is that even logical in the slightest? Ness not returning has no bearing on their chances of returning at all.

No it isn't...why would Sakurai get rid of them? They've been integral to the series, and are staples in their own series...the game wouldn't be right without them...
EDIT: I second Ruggeth and LFF...
