I know it's a bit late to be noticing this, but apparently Toon Link and Diddy Kong shared 20th place two weeks ago? Did they have the exact same score or something? And if so, how come someone else was in 21st?

The tier list for Melee was not based entirely on tournament results, though it was a major factor in it. However, the moment I say anything to the effect of "tier list" everyone seems to be on this quest to argue with me about why X character is so high or Y character is so low.

and i was the only peach in that tournament, and i didn't do too bad, considering it was double elim and my losses were to jokers snake which got 1st and it was close, and a stupid loss to a shiek where i freakin gimped my own recovery 2 times and went 0-2 on that match, but it was fun, too many MKs, but it was still fun.

Hmm... should Team tournys be counted in this same system/same way? I mean these are 2v2s, meaning that certain combinations of characters will have different advantages/disadvantages therefore be worse/better than their Single-Tourny-Mode selves. Lol I see another Falcon user :D too bad he didn't score in the top 8 :( o well. He's helping his popularity at least :). And it's nice to see a Shiek score in the top 8 (7th place in this instance).

yeah, the shiek was really good, just had some unlucky matchups, one against one of the MK's and the other was a loss to the snake who won, so she actually did alot better than the ranking it shows imo.

but in all serious that is impressive OBM... I imagine beating cort was not easy at all.

We usually still play to determine who actually gets first.

We're just high class with money and what not, especially considering gas prices.
