Challonge online tournaments for wii u directory by date

Hi there. So i've been doing this on my local's facebook in the events section so i thought i would make it easier for the entire community if i put it on here. This is my complete set of listings for all of the smash Wii u online tournaments hosted on challonge.

What I do once to a few times a week is I search for all of the reliable online tournaments on challonge by looking through the browse tournaments section of the site.

In this thread I will be posting all of the tournaments that I find that are easily enterable bay my standards. Basically if i have a hard time entering it then you will not find it here unless someone helps me describe to the masses how to enter.

If you find a tournament that is on another site that is not listed here then please pm me so I can research it and then if it works then i'll put it on the list. Just be warned, I will update this at least once a week. So if I don't respond immediately i'm probably not on here that day.

I will now post the intro I posted on my local's facebook and then the tournaments. If there is any information that is left out let me know so I can appropriately add it.

info for newbies:
When you enter a tournament on challonge read the rules of the tournament because you can literally hold a tournament for anything. To participate you do need a challonge account. For each tournament however you will have to use some sort of chat which will be described somewhere when you look at the rules. You may need additional accounts to other sites like twitch or anther's ladder ( http://www.smashladder.com/) which they will have you use the chat on the stream channel they have to contact your opponent.

Remember: if you enter too many tournaments at a time and you don't show up for a match because you were playing in another tournament you could be disqualified.

If you ever have any questions just post here and i'll try to get back to you asap.

Also, I would like to note that all times are EST timezone.

Your welcome!! I'm somewhat surprised that nobody thought of this before i did. Also i have updated the tournaments. I'm gonna try to keep on it more since i know I've missed some.

As you have probably noticed I do update at least once a week. It can be anytime during the week. That is why my updates are not consistent. But, i don't really have time to do it every day during the school year because of college and stuff. All of the thanks are greatly appreciated! Plus as a side note, I was wondering how many people actually use this thread since like no body posts on here. I mean I do see the amount views but maybe people don't know about it or not many people do online tournaments.

~ Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Mini Tournament III ~
General Rules:
•All items off.
•Two (2) stock.
•Six (6) minute time limit.
•All matches are best 2 out 3. Winners Finals, Grand Finals and Losers Finals are 3 out 5.
•Sudden Death will not be played •If time runs out (in any match), the player with the most stock wins. If both players have the same amount of stock, the person with the least amount of damage wins.
•If a suicide move is used to WIN a match the initiator of the move is declared the winner.
•Players have ten (10) minutes to show up to their designated match before they lose the set.
•A "-1" will be given to players who do not show up.

Stage Rules (see stage list below):
•Strikes will be in 1-2-1 order.
The player with the lower seed will strike first (Example: 28th seed vs 2nd seed. 2nd seed strikes first).
•Winner strikes two (2) stages, loser chooses stage, winner chooses character, and loser chooses character in that order.
•Gentleman’s Clause (Any stage can be played on if both players agree).

Character Rules:
•Switching characters is allowed.
•Customization and equipment off.
•Default Size Mii Fighters Are Allowed
•Yoshi stall glitch is banned.
•Bowser Jr. kart glitch is banned (in the event that this happens please stop the match and inform the TO's, the match will then reset with the same stocks).

Hey, I just wanted to say that I definitely appreciate the work that you're putting in for this Majin. It's really come in handy for me as these tournies are great practice for the physical versions.

This is smbmaster9 from youchew. Upchuckle, our tourney organizer for youchew monthlies, has asked me to kindly request you stop advertising our tournaments on smash boards or anywhere else online. This is not an open tournament, youchew monthlies are not your tournaments, and it Is not your choice to spread news of the youchew tournaments elsewhere. You also did not ask permission to post about this here. Simply creating an account on youchew is not enough to get you into these tournaments. You must be an active user within the community, not a lurker who created an account just to play a video game who only posts maybe twice between tournaments or uses their account solely to compete in said tourney.

We enjoy the extra competition, but we also don't want a flood of lurkers joining our forums just to post once a month to play in a video game tournament over the internet.

As of this post, only registered users on youchew that are active users within the community are allowed to compete in our tournaments. This means you may not enter if you join solely to play in our tournaments and do nothing else. This applies to everyone.

I say again, this is not an open tournament and it's not your choice to make whether the news of this tournament is posted elsewhere. Thank you for your time and understanding.

Yes, I try to update weekly as much as I can. Sometimes I get off the ball with life things but I try to stay on it.

KoCH VIII is a online tournament that I do not recommend. It was good until someone decided to try and lagswitch to win against me. That person's name is Cree318.

Anyways the reason why I do not recommend it is because of how bad the TOs are. Instead of trying to investigate whether or not Cree is cheating, they instead make me look like someone trying to incite something. So they ban me from the server and the tournament.

6/10 it's not bad but the TOs are god awful and it seems like some people are gonna try to cheat their way in.

As an SSG member I just want to say for those who want to do matches on stream without the worry of fraudulent play then I recommend Strictly Smash Tournament. I hope the next time we get a bigger number of people to join it.
