NEWS: IntenCity (the venue) is closing and can no longer host bi-weeklies or tournies. Bi-Weeklies are cancelled immedietely. Sorry, I didn't recieve any details into this, other than the place came under new ownership and the business is heading to Cape Breton (WTF?).

I wont be able to make this one, as I'll be moving up to Truro the next day. Also I'll note I won't be able to make many events held on Sundays, because I'll have to take the bus at 6 the next morning to make it to class...

That sucked. I didn't make it because jesse couldn't come, then my parents didn't want me to go there alone, then dad got sick, and of course they didn't tell me until we were about to leave.

Next time I hope Ill make. How did this one go?

Well, I guess I wouldn't consider it a failure, but we didn't have many people... there were like, 5 of us. One guy just came for fun, the other guy was competitive but didn't know anything about DI, CCing, Wavedashing... He was all like WTF?! I think he will come back... he has much to learn, though.

And then there was me, Zach (Pey) and Tyler (0715). Tyler played alot better than at the tourney. His Jigglypuff is rather dangerous.

I'll keep spreading the word... we'll try a couple more of these, and if they don't work out I'll just go back to hosting small smash-fests at my house, and doing major tournaments at IntenCity.

The bi-weeklies in Calgary started with a single 5-person tournament. Now we're hosting the largest tournament in Canadian history in December. Good on ya, Justin, I hope it works out for you guys. If you have any questions and the like, let me know and I'll try to help you out if I can.

Sunday the 29th will be anothe Bi-Weekly due to tourney cancellation.

Justin, because of the cancelation of the tournament, we should have a mini money tournament in the bi-weekly.
Only on some of the tv's, so we can still have friendlies.

I want some competition, I just play better under pressure.

Maybe just a small buy in, 2 bucks, no more than 5 at the most? And maybe only 1st and 2nd take some of the prize (depending on the size). That would be cool.
