Can you use the stage builder within Brawl mods?

Say I download and implement Project Patt or Infinite: can you use the built-in stage builder within those?

I'm extremely nooby at this stuff and just want to make sure before I invest a lot of time in figuring how to install these, since I know they're accessed through the stage builder itself.

Sometimes some Brawl or Project M mod packs Use the Disable Stage Builder Stages Code to prevent crashes with some mods

Just be careful it could corrupt the save data and nobody wants that do they. Im not sure if that can happen but be careful :/
