We know that Bayonetta has returned in Smash Ultimate. Since every playable character will be in Smash from now on, it's unlikely she will be removed from Smash 6 and so forth.
Unfortunately, you can't remove Bayonetta from Smash Ultimate because she's no long a DLC character, and is now part of the base game. The only way you can really get rid of Bayonetta (or any other playable character) is to make a moveset PSA mod of another character of your choice to replace her. And she will be gone.
I'm also wondering: Is there another way to get rid of Bayonetta without modding?
Note: I'm still willing to mod Smash Ultimate when it becomes hackable.
