Can you do captian falcon style moonwalks with marth?

No. You can't. The reason is that unlike Falcon's moonwalk, which can be done out of a run/dashdance, marth's has to be done out of his walking animation.
Basically, get to full speed walking, then do the moonwalk motion (full speed left, moonwalk motion starting from the right side of the control stick,)
easiest way to do it is wd to get to full speed and then do the motion, so you don't need as much space to walk.

Yeah, I think the only effective way to do it is wavedash moonwalk. I don't think it's really that useful, I rarely see it.
