Media Can Steve auti-cancel anvil?

Auto-Cancel Anvil?!

Melon and I were just playing around and we found out you could auto-cancel Steve anvil! Has anyone else found this?

This clip shows Steve dropping an anvil but he didn't seem to cancel it normally as he automatically drops it and didn't even stop moving or fall in the slightest.
Can anyone explain what happend here?

Yeah I know about this. When you have upward momentum from being hit from an attack and the first thing you do after being hit is press jump down air this happens every time
