Can someone confirm X-play is doing a show on SSBB next Friday?

speaking of conventions, I wonder if nintendo is gonna reveal anything at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) next week....

wait, the gamefaqs post said that it was this friday at 7..... Attack of the Show is at 7 everyday, and X-Play is a 8 O' Clock. Now I want this to be true, so either the guy made a mistake with the time, or he is making it up.

Do you mean eight Eastern? If so, then the person was using Central time.

I doubt X-Play is doing a Brawl special this early, especially since they're not airing any new episodes until Jan. 14th.

This rumor so isn't true.

Well it's possible I guess. I actually love X-Play.. But I just don't see them getting any exclusive info on Brawl. They can do that with American companies but I don't see them revealing anything new (from a game being created only in Japan) that we here on the Smashboards don't already know.

The most I can see happening is a flurry of new screenshots, and even that could be a bit iffy.

But yeah, we'll see. Did someone contact G4 and ask if the episode is real?

They've done it before. Last time I remember them doing it was with the director or Team Ninja (guy that makes Dead or Alive games, Ninja Gaiden)


I've already put this episode on record, just in case. Didn't say anything about it though, so we'll see. (have digital cable with a dvd-r box)

X-Play? Don't expect anything new. Maybe a couple gameplay footage bits from like...October that they haven't shown yet or something, but that's about it. Chances are, it'll be a Dojo rehash with some info that might actually be incorrect (I used to watch X-Play a lot...trust me on that).

X-play is a pretty good show, I havn't watched it for a while. Does anyone know what time it is on in coastal or pacific time (I forgot)? I hope they really are doing a SSBB special, even though it is very unlikely.

Yeah, well somebody on Gamefaqs lied. X-Play has new episodes starting January 14th which is not next Friday. Besides, they wouldn't announce new info anyway. I wouldn't buy it.
