Can’t dash anymore, why?

Ever since a few days ago, my character will occasionally break into a walk when I go to dash and I’m not sure why. It also affects my tap jump, and my character will randomly decide to shorthop on occasion. This is only a smash problem, all my other games lack a stick problem.
