A volleyball based tournament



Hey guys, this is Z with my 400th tournament, and this one has a volleyball theme to it! I don't know why I chose to base it on volleyball, as I don't play it nor am I into it at all, but regardless, it is so deal with it. This tournament will be fairly simple with very straight forward and basic rules, but there are a few differences! What makes this tournament unique is that all matches are played with one stock, first to 5 points (games won) wins, and you must have at least a 2 game lead to win! For example, if you won 5 matches but your opponent has 4 wins, even though you you got to 5, you still need to have a 2 point lead to win! There are no character restrictions so you can use whoever you want! :D

Rules
Stock: 1
Time Limit: 3:00
16 man tournament.
  • Dave's Stupid Rule is in effect!!
  • All matches are won by getting 5 wins and having at least 2 more wins than your opponent
  • All items are turned to "Off" and "None."
  • Any Suicide move is allowed. If it is the last stock, the person who commits the suicide will take the win.
  • Meta Knight's Infinite Dimensional Cape is banned.
  • Stalling is banned.
  • This is a double elimination tournament, so if you lose, your not out yet! If the timer runs out before the set is over, the person with the most stock wins. If the stocks are tied, the person with the least damage wins. If somehow the damage is also the same, it is decided by Sudden Death.
  • You must have a minimum of 4852 50 posts to enter. Unless someone reliable vouches for.
  • Stage Striking is in effect.
After the set, have one person post the winner and the score of the set (ex. Player 1 wins the first game of the set, then Player 2 comes back and wins the next two games, therefore you would post 'Player 2, 2-1' or something of the sort)
