This past weekend of October 7th - 9th, top players from around the world come together to compete in one of the most prestigious tournaments the United States has to offer, The Big House 6.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
Gonzalo “TSM ZeRo” Barrios takes this year's TBH 6, previously at TBH 5, he was upset by Joseph "Seagull Joe" Raucher's Sonic but now he's back and only solo-maining Diddy Kong, having said to dropping Sheik and solely focusing on his gameplay with Diddy, he shows us his hardwork by representing it in his solid gameplay. Getting a 3-0 for all his matches in top 32 except the matches he had against Jason "ANTi" Bates and Rei "komorikiri" Furukawa. ZeRo also shows us his powerful adaption by getting a 6-0 against ANTi in Grand Finals after having sent to losers by ANTi 3-1 in Winners Final's.

Joesph "Mango" Marquez clutches out his victory against Adam "Armada" Lindgren, after a bracket reset and takes The Big House for the 3rd time this year with excellent yet suspenseful performance. After getting knocked into losers by Mango, Armada goes through Melee gods such as Juan "Hungrybox" Debima, Jason "Mew2King" Zimmerman and Germany's own Mustafa "Ice" Akcakaya for another shot to be in Grand Finals for a classic Mango-Armada showdown. During top 8, Ice's performance in this tournament was phenomenal compared to others in the past. After gaining control over his tournament nerves, Ice realizes his potential in the future of competitive Melee to strive for glory.

After going through 323 teams at The Big House, CLG'S own PewFat prevailed over the rest as this year's event. At this year's event top 8 bracket was interesting due to a new rivalry that has emerged. Andreas "Android" Lindgren, Armada's brother, has been recently picked up by Alliance, the same sponsor as his brother, to team up to be an unstoppable Swedish force in teams. Zack "SFAT" Cordoni & Kevin "PewPew U" Toy are arguably one of the best teams that Melee has to offer due to their amazing team synergy and results. They overcame the Swedish threat in Team Alliance's spectacular debut as a team. Hopefully we can see more suspenseful high caliber matches between these two amazing teams in future tournaments.
