Because it doesn't seem that there are any threads talking about stage models, I've decided to make one. This thread is only about new stage models that will be imported using Pharrox's Injector (thread here), this is not about character models. If you want that thread, go here. Here you may make suggestions for stages, tell stages that you are working on, show your progress on stages you are doing, and offer constructive criticism on others' stages.

Oh, and if you haven't figured it out yet, we will also be able to import stage models with Pharrox's injector.

Also, don't tell me Pharrox's injector isn't out yet, I know. This is for when it does come out.

So far, I've that heard Vile is working on a recreation of the SSB64 intro for Castle Siege, but that's all I've heard.

:( If I had the tools, the time, the skill, and the dedication, I would use PSA, model hacking, animation hacking and stage hacking to make Super (insert name of my novel here) Brawl. ****, that would be so cool. Maybe, if I come across a lot of money... oh, heck, one can dream, can't he?

A novel? Heck that's a pretty **** good idea.

Back on subject, (kinda) I want to apologize to GadgetTR. I didn't realize his workshop include stages also. This thread is still open, but if he wants me to lock it I will.

I'll update this post when I hear from him.

This thread is still open.

Those things aren't difficult, we just need someone to build something that automatically builds the file.

If you do some research on the files, you could probably have the whole file down pact in 1 day.

Stages use the same model format as characters.. But you couldn't be more right in that the collision format isn't cracked.

I might take a whack at it later, but I don't have a very good eye for this kind of thing.

I want somebody to do this so bad. Then release a tool that allows people with other things to do like school and homework and writing a novel to do it themselves without spending weeks and months trying to learn the strange foreign language that normally comes with such tools.

No offense to experienced hackers, just in case I come off wrong.

I have kind of done research on this, but I've been more interested in something else at the moment. Just in case someone else wants to take this up, I'll tell what I've learned. All of this is completely untested, but it could work. I looked at the STGEDIT.pacs in BrawlBox (which was much more help than a hex editor), and in one of the pass-through platforms, they had Misc. Data 10 I think, and another pass-through platform had Misc. Data 11 I think. When I looked at these in Hex Workshop, they had the exact same code, and so I think (as I said, untested) we would have to add one of these manually to each platform we want to pass through, and the same goes with all other types of platforms, ledge grabbing, ice, etc. Once again, all of this is untested.

What exactly needs to be done, and where?
Look at what Vile said. Someone needs to research the collision data and make something that builds the file, that way we can make stages with the correct data. I found out that each type of block in stage builder has a certain type of Misc. Data, which I think might help, but I could be wrong. Vile told me to look at the stage pacs in a hex editor to do some research, and I'm not sure how to do that. I would look into this more, but I'm focused more on Drifloon, and I'm pretty illiterate with hex editors.

In the STGEDIT files, each piece has a MiscData whose number matches the piece's model data. The numbers themselves are not important and don't match up to specific things like they do on normal stages.

I already knew the first part, but couldn't you still insert them to the platform you want to have that type of effect if it is very close in size and shape?
