Brawl is the Epitome of Nintendo Advertisement Central

Its true. Super Smash Bros. is the epitome of Nintendo advertisement central really. In Melee, they mentioned Pikmin and Animal Crossing, and those two games became some of the best sellers on the GameCube. They are going to pull the same commerce in Brawl (I hope) anyway.

In my opinion, Nintendo knows Brawl is going to be huge, hopefully as huge as Halo. Anyway, if Nintendo is smart and knows how to market, they are going to definitely advertise some of their upcoming or future games inside Brawl, whether as a trophy, a sticker, an assist, or hopefully, like Roy in Melee, a playable character.

I made this post, because I don't think there is a direct thread calling the SSB franchise as a market scheme. SSB promoted Mother/Earthbound and Pokemon, SSBM promoted the return of retro Nintendo games and Fire Emblem. It wouldn't be a huge surprise really to consider them doing the same ploy for SSBB, but this time, its going to be questioned, what are they planning to advertise?

Please list your thoughts about this and voice a game you want to be mentioned in Brawl.

*This is my thought. I hope they make some mention of No More Heroes and Baroque in Brawl. Its likely. If you don't play the multi-player mode, (which seems unlikely) you collect the trophies and I can't wait for some of the trophies that advertise future games.

*:)*I added a list of the upcoming Wii games for 2008 to 2009 so look over it and consider the likely candidates of some recognition in Brawl. I named their genre, the game title, the company/producer of the game, and the date they are suppose to release (if not delayed).

*I'm still editing this, while you people are reading this, so enjoy. Also, Nintendo wants to release third-parties more often now. It wouldn't be surprising if they did that for some of their close third-parties. After all, Nintendo does make more money if their third-party games sell well. I'll also add games that have just been released too on this list.

Exactly. They aren't gonna put in Dora the Explorere trophies. Just first party titles, like InvinciblaAgent said.

Well we already see a mario kart stage, so theres most likely going to be alot of stickers/trophies of other unannounced games.

Hopefully Banjo Kazooie, that'd be silly.

Well, Mario Circuit isn't tied to one specific game, so I doubt they put the stage in ESPECIALLY as advertisement. However, I may be wrong :)

There is a terribly large number of crappy games on that list. I hope Brawl and the upcoming Mario Kart are successful enough to keep the Wii afloat in the long run.

I just edited my list. The US games on my list are Nintendo exclusive (which means these games were made only for the Wii and DS).

Okay, now all the games on my list are Wii and/or DS exclusive. Only Okami is the exception. Some games come from the PC but are being released only on the Wii.

How is Mario Kart unannounced? We've had five or so installments before this, you know ;)
I just worded that wrong. I meant the wii one

Well yeah but that couldve been a reason on top of that.

"Lets make a mario kart stage, mario kart rocks!. Also mario kart wii is coming out so it might help with advertising!"
