Brawl Demo somehow, a little bit, maybe not (better now MIC?) confirmed

Yes, you may think again a topic for a brawl demo? No doubt, but this time i have found some confirmation about that we might have a slight chance that they are working on a download able version of the game.

I have found this sentence in a question log u can anwser after u registered a product at Club Nintendo (yes only Japan and Europe has this, finally Europe has something that US does not have :lick:)
The question is this: Where did you heard of this game and made you buy it?

One of the possibility's you can anwser is this: I played a downloaded demo on the Wii Shop Channel.

But there are no demo's on the wii shop channel up to this date. So does this anwser that they are working on demo's?

I sure hope so! :joyful:

1. The U.S. actually does have surveys based on games you register. I got one for Super Mario Galaxy a week later.
2. What game was this for, and why do you think it may relate to an SSBB demo?

Wouldn't it be funny if the demo was only for Europe? After all that, they actually got to play first.

1. Game stores have demo kiosks a few weeks before the game comes out...
2. The Metroid Prime 3 preview channel came out at the beginning of August while the game itself was released at the end, only a few weeks after.

I think they just the same surveys everytime, but this does confirm demo's on wii shop channel. Just not the SSBB one.

A Demo is very well nescessary. For Japan not entrely but hey I would still be freaking anxious. WE have 40 days to go. We are all very curious on how certain characters will be and such. The demo may not have SSE and everything but I would still be happy if the onlything available was vs. mode. I would play like crazy.

Maybe they still will release a demo in Japan and the US just to show the non-believers how good this game actually is. Just wild guess. Anyhow the news for demo's is still pretty nice dont ya think?

I sure hope so.

The only 'demo' we had so far was that Metroid Prime 3 preview. Doesn't hurt to keep dreaming though!

there are plans to place wii game demos on the shop channel in the future. smash will most likely have a demo once nintendo starts placing demos on the channel. this doesnt mean it will be available anytime soon. it might even be available months after feb 10.

If only Europe got games like everyone else, nothing worse than waiting an extra month and stumbling across secrets for a game you havent played

Well Devil May Cry 4 is getting a demo on January and it comes out on the beginning of Feb. so...:O Who knows XD

But I think Europe REALLY deserves a demo o_o

Europe would get a demo that the US doesn't? Wouldn't bother me one bit. You guys have to wait longer for the game anyway, so a demo would be nice.

I hope we get a demo. As someone already said, I don't care if it dosn't have SSE or stage editor; even if it only had vs I would still play it like crazy.
Mainly because I am crazy

A demo would be awesome, and it's not too late for one. Because not everyone buys the game on the release date.

You mean Metroid Prime 3.
Anyways, I would like a demo, but it may make the wait SLIGHTLY less exciting. And also, somehow, everyone will again fight over SP's "theoracy".

For me I think its too late for a demo... It like comes out in Japan in less then 1 month and in the US in about 1 1/2 months...

We can wait.

It would be smart to make a demo. They would make alot a cash.

But they'd have to put very little into it, or else n00bs won't buy the game.

The PAL regions should get a Brawl demo right now. That is, if it really does come out after March.

I highly doubt a demo will be released. Remember guys, the game comes out in less than a month in Japan. In even less time, a copy of the game will be leaked and videos and information will be EVERYWHERE.

I say two weeks and we know all the characters :D

I dislike the topic title, because it's conjecture, just like the "Gone Gold" topic that I never saw if the phrase had been properly qualified or not.

We already know that japan is soon getting downloadable demos, so whats the harm in making that an option so they won't have to later? Survey makers are known for doing lazy things like that.

There will never be a playable demo for brawl because there isn't enough room on the Wii's internal memory and because Nintendo is run by a bunch of apes.

However, I think another Preview channel like Metroid Prime 3 is in order. There isn't tons of footage of this game, and what there is is very low quality and with little/no sound.

the whole point of demos isnt just getting eager fans a sneak peak of the game before it hits the shelves. its also for people who havent played the game and is curious and wants to try it out before buying it. so yeah. we might get a demo even AFTER the game is released.

Didn't that happen with Mario Galaxy? I would love for that to be the case with Brawl.

Even though new video footage is sorely needed, if they actually gave Brawl a preview channel I wouldn't be surprised if we only got rehashed videos from the Dojo.
