You can also use vgmstream to dump a brstm to a wav, increase the volume of it, and then turn that into a BRSTM using my tool.

This is the currently proposed way I am going to implement adjusting of volume, i just need to figure out if there is a quality loss associated with doing it this way.

Resident Evil (Gamecube) - Minimum Safe Distance from Black Tiger By theUndead_feature - DEMO

*requested by Chic

I personally recommend the Minimum Safe Distance from Black Tiger brstm. I combined two tracks from the REmake. One from the very end during the self-destruct and the other from the Black Tiger fight. Epicness is had. It makes for a great Frigate Orpheon track.

Wow, tonight you'll see the OP has had a big update. I'm *almost* caught up with the old topic.

The music replacement list now is updated with Vyse's revisions.

Links for custom music forums have been added. A thread link is added, another dead thread is removed.

A foreboding number of songs are added to the OP.

I'd like to thank everyone for their continued efforts with this thread. Keep up the good work!

Many thanks for getting the list up to date! However, it seems like you accidentally missed a line break between "Sonic 3 - Azure Lake" and "Sonic 3 - Breathtaking Vision (Sky Sanctuary)". You might want to fix that.

Holy freaking crap. I downloaded a couple DKC songs and in the middle of a few, there is this horrific noise that sounds like somebody beating a turkey with a violin. Wtf? Bad editing or looping?

Um I was looking and I noticed no one had BlazBlue's character select theme as a brstm in this thread.

Maybe you guys might actually have it somewhere but I couldnt find it ._. if you need anything else besides the link to actually know what song I'm talking about, let me know. I also have a feeling that this isn't the request thread <___________< but whatever, lol.

Here's the link to the song

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4tPk7wXOBY&feature=channel_page

And that ugly noise has to do with the SD card I think. Someone suggesting defragmenting the card to me, but I actually forgot to do it, and the next day the freaked out song worked fine ._.

Try to defragment your sd card. Apparently a brstm can't be fragmented at all, otherwise it'll start to try to read data other than the brstm file.

Okay, I'm not trying to **** on this thread, because it's very good for providing the songs, but could someone please make another list for the songs in Brawl. Going by trial and error is really really annoying. Could someone make a song list with the names that the songs go by in Brawl? -_-

what do you mean? >.>

just find the song name you want to replace, find the 3 character in front of it (like W21, etc.), and name the brstm that is the one replacing the default song W21. or etc.

Some of the songs on the list don't look anything like how they are in-game. Ex: Battlefield. That's not even listed. If it is, it'd be almost impossible to find because it's probably named Brawl theme remix or something. Just having it on the list named "Battlefield" would make it worlds easier. Or maybe I'm just weird. x_x;

Yeah! That! I made a post earlier that the names in the front post weren't exactly the same, but it seems CyberGlitch isn't exactly Sonic when it comes to these things...

Try to defragment your sd card. Apparently a brstm can't be fragmented at all, otherwise it'll start to try to read data other than the brstm file.
I defragged my SD card to see if that would help (had the same thing happen) but when I put it back in the Wii I keep getting an error message on GeckoOS that says "Code has too many lines" or something similar, and it won't load up the RSBE01.gtc, despite it working fine before.

@ Nya and NintendoManiac, I've seen the complaints on such things, but I'm not the one who put these lists together. If you see something that needs fixed or know a better list please suggest it to me! I remember the VS Ridley needs fixed...

Maybe Dantarion can help with this. Alternatively, you can use his custom music maker gui to easily copy your songs over to your SD card with the right file names. Just install his program in a folder, put your brstms in its library folder, open the program, select the song and then select the stage and song you want to replace. It does the rest for you. Link to the GUI is on the first post.

If I'm particularly motivated I might do some trial and error to get the list right. Anyone else's help would be much appreciated.

@BurningCharizard, do you still have the config file necessary for Gecko OS to do a ton of lines for Brawl? If that file got removed or corrupted it would cause this problem.

Yes. I deleted everything off the SD card after the first couple of tries after I defragged it and put them back on with the files on my hard drive, and still got the message. Then I reformatted the SD card, put everything back on there, and I STILL get the message, even though the hard drive files have never had anything happen to them.

Edit 1: And I just downloaded Gecko 1.9.2, put it on the card, and it's STILL giving me the "Too many codes" error.

Edit 2: And I just tried it with an earlier RSBE01.gtc that doesn't have the music codes, and it's STILL giving me the error. This is really ticking me off.

Aside from getting all the extra songs added, I propose Cyber removes all the "The"s from the Zelda titles so they line up properly, it looks better, and it actually fits in the L section.

Wait, too many codes? I was talking about when you get static-like sounds from custom BRSTM files with the defrag thing.

For the too many codes, that's a really easy fix since I had the same problem. Go download the full Brawl+ ZIP package (this one), and right in the in zip (not in any folder) is a file called "gameconfig.txt" - put that on your SD card root (not in any folder)

You shouldn't get the error anymore.

Soooo CyberGlitch... when's the next list update? You probably realize it's still quite behind, but I just get a paranoid at times that you've lost interest or something...

Actually, I have been updating. I just haven't bothered to note my updates until I caught up.

Right now I believe I'm completely caught up with the old thread, including doing the fixed for all the Shadow of Colossus download locations.

I've also made major headway catching up with this thread. I've updated all of the sections to a point. The R-Z Videogame section, in particular, should be completely caught up.

Don't worry about me not losing interest. I'm the kind of guy who loves to help others in any way I can. If anything happens it'll be me getting too busy to update. In this case I'll find time to do it, it'll just be a bit delayed, is all. I'll do my best to warn you guys if this is the case, but I generally don't like to make posts unless I have something important to say :-P

Anyways, BurningCharizard, forgot to formally welcome you to the boards! I hope you find a lot of useful resources here. Thanks for the submissions and if you need any help with anything just post here or give me a PM. For the "too many codes" problem, follow Nintendo Maniac 64's advice for you above to get the config file Gecko OS needs to know exactly where in Brawl's RAM the codes can be safely stored when it is run.
