the japanese dojo has the boxart that was "supposedly" fanmade...or at least i thought. and if the game has gone gold does that mean that the boxart is for sure the one on the japanese dojo?

The time when people thought it was fan-made was long ago. Yes, it's real (it's on the freaking DOJO). The U.S. one is similar (darker blue).

They actually really liked the fan-made one and stole it without permission, rather than the usual, paying people to own the rights to a box art that doesn't suck.
