After finding the White and Black Bomberman skin for Kirby, my friends and I wanted to do a Bomberman in Brawl. Only Bombombs/Smart Bombs allowed, 15stock, and 2.0 damage ratio. No melee fighting.
Issue: only two colors of Bombermen available right now, and i have no idea how to edit skins. (I did a little research and none of it sunk in that well)

Was wondering if someone could (in their spare time of course) devise a Yellow/Blue/Green Bomberman skin? Would be awesome.

This is only for fun, nothing serious so if noone wants to no biggie.
Or, anyone have a link for a texture-editing guide that is complete? the few ive found seem to be missing things or speaking a language i'd doubt anyone but a mega nerd would know what they mean.

EDIT: Or the guide is outdated and full of busted links and downloads.

ehhh ok i shouldnt have worded it like that lol sry. The stuff i was refering to was like coding and such. I dont know the first thing about codes.

Not saying im not a nerd...i play games and know more about them than what the gameplay says, and i know history of gaming companies. i just dont know computer speak that well (even tho my coworkers would argue that. They believe i can speak binary.....)

1. Download this file. It has all the data you need to hack Brawl.

2. Download BrawlScape.

3. Open BrawlScape's folder. There will be two more folders inside of it. Put all of Brawl's data files in the "game files" folder. Modified textures you create will go in the "project files" folder.

4. Open BrawlScape and browse through its options. Right-click on any image you see to find options for replacing that image in the game. Try using "export" on Kirby's textures.

5. Open the PNGs that BrawlScape makes in Photoshop or GIMP or what-have-you. Edit to your heart's content and save the file.

6. Replace Kirby's textures in BrawlScape with the edited ones you made. BrawlScape will let you preview the texture as it looks on the in-game model. If you don't like how it looks, edit the texture again.

7. If you're satisfied with how the texture looks, go to the "Project" tab, click on "Direct Mode" and click "Save". BrawlScape will automatically create the correct files and place them on your SD card in the correct location. If your SD card isn't inserted into your computer, BrawlScape will create the necessary files for you to move to it later.

8. Use the GeckoOS homebrew program and Phantom Wings's File Patcher 3.5.1 code to replace Kirby's texture in the game.

9. Ask your question in the texture hacking thread next time instead of making a new topic.
