Blue Pikmin kill throw %?

Has anyone compiled a list or chart of the minimum percentage the opponent needs to be on for the up throw to kill?
It would be extremely helpful.

It would be extremely helpful.
I don't believe anyone has recorded the data for this. Would definitely be a lot of work, due to rage varying so much, plus almost 50 characters weights to record.

Edit: Also forgot about different ceiling height.

For what characters?
Well I really only went and tested this for diddy and sheik. But for diddy it was like %148 up throw started killing him in training mode, so with proper DI it's possible for them to live longer. It was around %145 for Sheik. Back throws on the ledge with blue were killing around %15 earlier on all characters I tested.

I will do some research and test. First with all characters without caring the stage and then characters and stage.

So here is the first part of my research

1st edit: Put it on a table so you can order as whatever you want.
2nd edit: Added videos nearly to the % I mentioned.
3rd edit 2015 02 07:
  • Town and the City is 5~6% less than FD needed for the kill.
  • Battlefield is 7~8% more than FD needed for the kill.
  • Lylat and Halberd are moving stages so it's very variable. (???)
  • Castle Siege its depends on the state of the stage. (???)

My ignorance is telling me to say "yes", but for the sake of our community I have to say no.
Does affects the % of Olimar? Why?
I was going forward with the tests but this new info ruined all my plans :(

Well if Olimar isn't at 0% than he will have rage. Rage increases the knockback of moves when your percent increase.

I don't know exactly how it works. I just know that as your percent increases your knockback does as well.

Just make sure uthrow is fresh each time, and record the different stages. The testing should show kill % without rage for each stage with no di. That's better than nothing.

It does affects SSB4 too? I thought it was not working or at least it was not fully working.

Alright my people, I did a few test and this is what I get. I didn't test it against all characters as the first time because the % repeats.

Olimar 0%, Town and the City and only using the Blue Pikmin.

So the conclusion may be (@ Myran Myran the first one could possibly be confirmed by you in order for updating your awesome guide)

1) Uthrow does 12.5 instead of 12. I did at least 20 tests about it and I get the same.
2) Uthrow isn't affected by move stale (always does 12.5 even when you spam it without another movement)

So ... the only thing that is left to do, is to test this results in another stage.
I could do it but first I need to confirm these 2 things so I'm counting on you guys.

Among this week, I will be trying to test this info in for glory mode, but it will be approximately because of the adrenaline of the match.
Anyway I think what we have here is better than nothing.

Okey guys, yesterday I test 3 characters with a Blue Pikmin Uthrow.
I had VERY LUCKY on :4kirby: Kirby at EXACTLY 126% and he died. I don't know if he DI or whatever is the name, but I think this is quite good because I did it with 26% on Olimar so isn't that much affected by the incremental reason/relation (and I keep thinking that doesn't affect throws).
Not sure if :4bowser: Bowser DI or whatever you call, but at 160% (162% needed by my analisis) he escaped form death.
Finally :4marth: Marth at 138% (147% needed by my analisis) and he escaped too.

I'm putting a lot of effort to accomplish this, but I have very, very bad games trying to pull this over XD. I'm starting a little experiment about having 3 blue pikmin at higher % in order to success for this tests. Wish me luck.

I'm not sure if this is considered a double-triple posting, but I consider it properly to say.
I think this thread and topic (or maybe another new with the chart at the first post) would be better to be sticky/pinned. I don't mind creating the thread by myself in order for the first post has the chart, but I don't want to break the rules of the forum. If someone can confirm this to me, I will create the new thread.

Anyway, this post is for letting you all know that I will do a research (again) with the remaining Throws with a Blue Pikmin and their % of kill. And I hope (in a near future) an investigation with ALL the Pikmin Throws.

I hope to do more investigation in other topics, so we can get the maximum potential of Olimar with a solid database. If you guys have another information or want to destroy mine, PLEASE DO IT. I don't care if I'm wrong with some numbers or conclusions, but I do care about the knowledge of our favorite Pikmin farmer.

Just want to up this topic by saying this:
  • Diddy didn't died at 118% with Olimar at 113% on Smashville.
  • Diddy died at 134% with Olimar at 113% on Smashville.
According to my data, 148% with Olimar at 0% needed on Smashville.

Were you testing this in the training room? Because moves don't stale in the training room.

I was crying when I finished posting the result and my group told me there was a patch :'( ....
So yes, this was done pre patch.

Also I was comparing the results with my previous post and it seems like the Uthrow got buffed?

I will try to rerun the analysis again tomorrow 17th.
