Yeah, I see it! Thanks! Its Dark Link and Dark Samus on the Bridge of Eldin, with the camera all the way to the left and down a little, to make it look dynamic. Dark Link is doing the taunt from SSB64, and Dark Samus is kneeling. They are both facing to the left.
I imagine the match is based off the similar Solo event, so it would be Link and Samus vs. Dark Link and Dark Samus.
And no, its not the character 'Dark Samus'. Its just a black silhouette of Samus, same as Dark Link. Just like the same event in Melee.

Er..her blaster.Btw, what is Samus is holding there? (Event 6)
Yeah. That's seriously deserving of a *facepalm* there Bli33ard.Er..her blaster.
Well duh. That's the whole point. "Face your dark side!"It may just be Samus' silhouette, but it's still probably a reference to Dark Samus.
Suggests Dark Samus playable but who knows. That is clearly Samus, probably in her "Dark Suit." Doesn't make much sense to me to have Samus in the Dark Suit fight Dark Link, as that isn't really good representation of Dark Samus.Yeah, I think that would be a dream, rather than an assumption, seeing as I doubt we'll get any more recolours on top of what was seen at E4All. :-/
EDIT: Every game character ever made has a dark version. Seriously, it's like, the most unoriginal idea for a game anyway, when a game makes a "Dark Hero" you know the developer has run out of original ideas (I'm looking at you Metroid Prime 2)
The only reason it's just Link and Samus, is because their dark characters are the mostpopularpersistant, and it's CoOp so it can only be 2 on 2.
I'd argue that. Since when does DK have a dark side? Fox? Zelda? Peach? Falcon? While they may either have been possessed by an evil force (Puppet Zelda in TP, Shadow Queen Peach in Paper Mario, Dedede on many occasions), or perhaps have an evil counterpart (Team Rocket trainers for PT, Shadow for Sonic, Wolf for Fox), many characters don't have a "dark side" per se. And what about villians? They're already bad!EDIT: Every game character ever made has a dark version. There was also Shadow Mario, who is technically bowser jr but its still a "dark" counterpartI'd argue that. Since when does DK have a dark side? Fox? Zelda? Peach? Falcon? Looking at the roster, the only characters that actually have a dark side, or maybe we should say, a physical form of the dark half of a character, are Link and Samus. Its a clear choice.
EDIT: Actually, Kirby has a dark side as well as Meta-Knight. But that was only in one game, that I never got to play. I'M SORRY OK?!
See I wouldn't classify that the same way. That was just a disguise. When Bowser Jr. moved his bandana over his face, he changed into Shadow Mario, right? There was also Shadow Mario, who is technically bowser jr but its still a "dark" counterpart
