I know this is probably the wrong place to put this but I had this idea sense 2012 to make a Super Smash Bros. like game featuring my own characters. The problem is I've looked all over the internet for help but I could not find anything unless it was really buggy.
I am currently using the full version of Game Maker 8.1. A Super Smash Bros. fan game called Super Smash Bros. Crusade was made on Game Maker as well so I know it's possible. I have a full roster planned out with up to 60 characters, I also have some stages and modes in mind including boss battles.
If there was anyone who has experience with Game Maker or game designing in general I was wondering if you or someone you know could contact me? I have basic movements down like jumping and walking and crouching and all this other stuff. I know about sprites and objects and how to make stages. And some other basics but that's it.
Also I was wondering if there was a spriter out there who wouldn't mind making some sprites for the game.
