Big D's take on the kirby-ddd matchup

Hi. Im a Kirby main from Big D's area and had the opportunity to ask him about the matchup. he thinks its an even matchup. here is a quote from him on the specifics.


"Kirby needs to play outside of ddds range then get in with like a dash grab or dair after ddd commits.ddd's moves take a long time so if u think he's gonna do one u can airdodge while he does it and hit him after"

additionally he says the best ways to deal with gordos are with bair and nair but to ignore them if you can.

For those of you who don't know Big D is the premier ddd main for smash 4

I could agree with this. DDD's huge disjoints are a pain to deal with tho

I find utilt to be great vs. Gordos. Stops em coming from the front or above, and is fast enough to do on reaction. Bair and nair are only fast enough if you're already airborne.
