In a bout of pure hedonism I sold my Wii so's I could get drunk.

Months later, I feel my decision was a bit impulsive.

So I only have a gamecube to play.

Anyone know any unheard of yet amazing gamecube games?

worth a try

Eternal Darkness is pretty well known but it's really good.

I'm actually having a hard time thinking of games!

I love gamecube games, I definetly found some interesting titles, for me these are the "must have" if you own a Gamecube.

-Super Smash Bros. Melee
-Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes
-Paper Mario: TTYD
-Fire Emblem: Path of Radience

Those 4 titles I must always have, there are also a bunch of great others like F-Zero GX and Soul Calibur II with Link, really it depends what you are into, also a Game Boy Player is a must for playing your old Game Boy Games on a larger screen.

Starfox Adventures is class too.
This. It's basically a furry Zelda with voice acting. And made by Rare to. I enjoyed the **** out of it :)

Other honorable mentions:

Both Zeldas (haven't played TP on GC, but heard it was the superior version)
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
Metroid Prime
Paper Mario TTYD
Phantasy Star Online (was indeed cool)
Mario Sunshine
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat (with Bongos it's a pretty enjoyable experience, not best the DK game though)
Mario Kart Double Dash
Pokemon Colloseum / XD (3D adventuring baby)
And that one fighting game... can't remember it's name but it's with %s and such... :troll:

Glad someone else mentioned Baten Kaitos. BK is, in my opinion, not only the best RPG for the GC, but one of the best overall (conceptual, dynamic, artistic) RPGs ever made.

My top 10 GC games would be...

-Metroid Prime
-MP2: Echoes
-Baten Kaitos
-Baten Kaitos Origins
-Megaman X Command Mission
-Custom Robo
-Super Monkey Ball 2
-Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
-FF: Crystal Chronicles
-Starfox Assault

I tried to keep obvious choices out, like Wind Waker and Mario Sunshine, etc.

-Pikmin (Really wish I had played Pikmin 2!)
-Double Dash

Lastly, for good funsies Def Jam Fight for New York!

Edit - Oh man! Mario Tennis! I have never played so many money matches in a video game ever! S2J, Mango and I went nuts with that game for a couple of days!

Edit 2 - Mario Strikers is also another! Played a first to 50 with Mango sometime last year when the World Cup was going on, but we didn't finish it! 20-21 Mango, we have got to finish that game!

only good gamecube games i truly liked was Eternal Darkness and Tales of Symphonia cuz of its kool battle system (story was typical ghey anime **** though)

a lot of the high quality 'sequel' titles don't seem as good/fun as the 64 version, but there are definite good 'sequels' just haven't played them like f zero

gamecube paper mario wasn't as fun as 64 paper mario for some reason, gamecube mario kart's battle system is much ****tier than 64 battle system (AND YOU CAN'T HOP, WTF), gamecube couldn't pull off starfox games correctly

wind waker had too much ****ing sailing that especially sucked when you had to find the triforce pieces, didn't play twilight princess

(EVEN HARVEST MOON, HARVEST MOON 64 *****, i HEARD GAMECUBE VERSION SUKED)

but Melee pulled it off good as ****

Killer 7 i haven't played but i heard its pretty unknown and good
