best Dolphin version for Netplay?

I'm finally getting my new GameCube controller next week but I haven't downloaded Dolphin yet to emulate Melee. I know the most current Dolphin is 5.0 but I don't know if that's the best version for running Netplay on Melee. If it isn't then what would be the best version to download for Melee Netplay?
