Between all of the 3rd party companies (Konami, Sega, Capcom, Namco, Square, others), which one has overall been given the best Smash treatment...as in content, character design, tier list placements, trailer use, pretty much anything that one company has better than the others)

Sega, without a doubt. It's like they're desperate for good business.

Sega, no doubt

4 franchises represented (Sonic, Bayonetta, Vitura Fighter, and Persona)
3 seperate studios (Sonic Team, Platinum Games, Atlus)
3 unique playable characters
4 stages
4 assist trophies
42 music tracks
55 Spirits

Quite a lot if you ask me

I'm voting Capcom so my vote will age well after Jill gets in.

There are 3 companies with the best representation

Capcom: 3 fighters (:ultmegaman::ultryu::ultken:) 4 assist trophies in this game (Zero, Wily Capsule, Guile and Rathalos, the very last one also being a boss), 2 stages, lots of spirits and classic modes that are tributes to Megaman and Street Fighter (also tons of music)

Konami: 3 fighters (:ultsnake::ultsimon::ultrichter:) 3 assists (Gray Fox, Alucard and Bomberman), 2 stages, Dracula as a boss and lots of spirits (and lots of music as well)

Sega: 3 fighters (:ultsonic::ultbayonetta::ultjoker:) 4 assists (Shadow, Knuckles, Rodin and Akira), 4 stages and lots of spirits and music

I like how nobody has thought about jokingly saying Square Enix...tho Konami lost a vote

It’s working for them at least. They just gotta try and not do something bad

If we get 2B and at least 3 songs from Nier Automata, I'll be more than content with Square Enix representation. They'd go from last place to 'nuff said real quick.

I think we'll get more from Namco Bandai via DLC, but what we got so far isn't bad at all. Aside from that, Capcom, Konami, and Sega brought quite a bit to the table.

Sega is def the most widely represented.

Also, I wouldn't consider Bandai Namco to be a 3rd party, considering they're part of the Smash development team. Their logo is in the credits reel of both SSB4 and SSBU.

They are still third party cause they don't own the IP.

Being credited for working on Smash doesn’t stop Bamco from being a 3rd party...kinda weird to think that

I voted Capcom, but its kind of a tie between Capcom and Konami for me. They're the few companies that seem to be reeling for their IP to be in Smash. It doesn't seem like they're simply allowing it to happen, a la Square, and doesn't seem like they're using it to shill games, a la Sega. I have trouble counting Bandai Namco since they're the lead developer for Ultimate, they can probably easily allow any IP Nintendo requests from them (funny we only have Pac Man, 1 stage, and a couple items).

I gotta go with either Capcom or Konami, both are heavily promoted with two franchises under their belts and both have franchises with Echo fighters.

I would say Sega, but honestly Sonic is one of the worst represented 3rd parties in Smash with him having a super generic move-set of one move. He also has no remixes outside of one and it’s a shame we didn’t see another Sonic character as a fighter or as a boss like Konami and Capcom both got.

Considering Sega has 3 unique fighters from completely different series with completely different genres, I’d say Sonic not having a newcomer is fair enough (plus he’s the only 3rd party with 2 stages and any Mii costumes in Ultimate)

Ehh... I guess

I think Sonic is definitely the biggest 3rd party outside of Pac-Man, so it would have been nice to see Shadow and Mrs. Pac-Man join the frey as echoes. They would have been more hype building than Ken or Richter.

Shadow might’ve not been playable once again due to either Sonic Team likely only wanting Sonic or SEGA themselves wanting multiple series represented in Smash

When Dante gets revealed at E3, Capcom's gonna take the lead.

Y’all got ya reasons
Sure
All three companies have three characters (:ultryu::ultken::ultmegaman: for Capcom, :ultsonic::ultjoker::ultbayonetta: for Sega, and :ultsnake::ultsimon::ultrichter: for Konami) as well as stages, assist trophies based on series not represented through characters, both Konami and Capcom had series with dedicated sections in World of Light and they all have a multitude of Spirits.

Gonna say Capcom. Yeah, Sega has more franchises, but Mega Man and Street Fighter have such GOOD representation. Only Castelvania got done better.

You're free to call me whatever name you like if I'm wrong.
I’m not gonna judge you for Dante, I’m impressed that you have no doubts he’s joining any Nintendo game. That’s what we need more of here
