Beastcoast Debuts With Mr. R and Mike Haze

On July 9th, fledgling esports team beastcoast announced their debut, and along with it an initial roster consisting of Ramin "Mr. R" Delshad and Mike "Mike Haze" Pulido.

Both Mike Haze and Mr. R are top-level threats at their respective games. Ranked at 28th on the 2016 SSBMRank, Mike Haze is one of Southern California's many top-level Super Smash Bros. Melee players, with top 16 placements at most of the majors he's attended so far in 2017. Meanwhile Mr. R is both the best Super Smash Bros. for Wii U player in Europe and the best Sheik main in the world. Thanks to his high placements at majors and results against other top players, he also holds the #9 rank on PGRv3.

Despite being new on the scene, it's clear from their lineup that beastcoast is a serious contender in the world of esports. They have a clear interest in putting their players first and plan on expanding their roster in the coming months. Only time will tell what comes next. In the meantime, both Mike Haze and Mr. R will be competing at EVO this weekend.
