Smash Master
Please read this:
You are responsible to bring your own controller. If you have any equipment that could help this tournament run smoother, please bring it. We need gaming consoles, copies of games, N64 controllers, extension cables, etc. I can only supply so much for this tournament, and I am relying on others to help me with some of it.
Day 1 Location: Simon Fraser University (SFU), Burnaby Campus (8888 University Dr.)
Room: MBC 20 (Maggie Benston Center) Atrium (Cafeteria)
Day 2 Location: 109 E40th ave., Vancouver
Room: basement
Country: Canada
Date: May 15-16, 2010
Time: 9:00 am - 10:00 pm on Saturday, 4:00 pm - 10:30 pm on Sunday
If you're getting here by bus, here's a description on how to get to the tournament room
If you're getting there by car, look at the maps below. Visitor parking (the first parking lot on your right when you come in by University Dr) costs $7.00/day. Make sure you don't forget this! They will charge you a hefty fine if you leave your car there without paying for parking. If you get there before 9 am they'll only charge you $3.50, which is a **** good deal for a whole day. It's a long walk to the parking lot, but trust me, it's worth it for how much money you'll save. Other parking places on campus charge by the hour.
If you're dropping a TV or some equipment off, just pull up by the side of the Maggie Benston Building.

RULES
General rules:
* Items are set to off.
* Stock and Time are set to 4 stock and 8 minutes respectively.
* Regular sets are best of 3 matches.
* The Tournament Host is the arbiter of all disputes.
* Blind Picks: the first character selection of a set must be without prior knowledge of the opponent's character selection for both players.
* Modified Dave's Stupid Rule: No player can counter pick a stage he or she LAST won on unless agreed upon by both players.
* Gentleman's clause: any stage may be played on so long as both players and the Tournament Host agree to it, including banned stages. This can be used in tandem with the Modified Dave's Stupid Rule (MDSR).
* Timed out matches will be determined by the remaining number of lives, then percentage of the current stock. In the event of a percentage tie, replay that match. Any Sudden Death match is strictly not to be played.
Stage List (Singles)
* For teams, Team-Attack is ON and life-stealing is allowed.
* Stalling is defined as extending the match indefinitely to the point where the opponent cannot do anything to prevent it. This may involve peach wall-bombing, Ice-climber freeze glitch, etc. Shino stalling is not a "stall". For any disputes regarding this, Evan Watkins (TO) must be contacted and he will decide whether a situation can be called stalling. Any person found stalling a match will forfeit that match, but not the set.
*Winners' Final, Losers' Final, and Grand Finals are best of 5 matches.
