Games I have played and completed: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, BSFE, Heroes (well, for now at least).
tl;dr The whole lot. The NES games have aged so badly, though. But I still enjoyed them, for some reason.
Favourites, in rough order:
1. Path of Radiance
2. Genealogy of the Holy War
3. New Mystery of the Emblem
Closely followed by some combination of FE7, The Sacred Stones, Radiant Dawn... Thracia 776 is pretty decent too, once you get past the bull**** like everyone having to escape before Leif or they get captured, fake difficulty, junk like Reinhardt's bridge (
or you can just Berserk him), and so on. Chapter 14 is legitimately challenging, and one of the best designed maps in the series, and Leif actually learning and growing from his mistakes makes him one of the more believable characters in the series too. It has lots of bad design too, though, so it only lands around the middle of the pile overall.
Like probably most people, I have
to thank for getting me into the series. Played Marth in Melee a ton back in the day, decided to check out the first western FE title when it dropped back in 2004, and the rest is history.
I'm quite knowledgeable about the series, I'd say... not like I can rattle off a list of every minor boss in the series or anything like that, but I probably have a better understanding of the games' plots and gameplay and such than most people around here.
I totally don't contribute any of that knowledge to a certain FE-related website, which I absolutely don't own or run on any level at all. Though if anyone is stuck on a chapter or whatever, I can probably try and help. Freebie - just throw Ryoma at everything in Birthright/Revelation. It works!
