Brave can literally be anybody. A few weeks ago, Sora was picking up momentum to be the established "Brave" rep, but ever since that tweet with Kirby and Erdrick's shield everyone jumped back to Erdrick again and dragging in that horrible leak with Doomguy and Ryu Hayabusa.
Even then, the one who took the pic with Kirby and the Shield only worked on Smash 64. They even mentioned how the pic has no special meaning at all. I bet most of these Edrick backers didn't even know who he was until the 5CH leak happened.

Funny how they call us delusional where they whirl around and cry that Edrick and Steve are confirmed with the Shield and "Dig" comment respectively.

I mean that makes sense, but aren't the height values based on the neutral/t-posed model, and don't take battle stance into account?

Legitimately curious about that actually, lol. I honestly don't know.
I thought Sora could fit brave in his KH1 appearance.

I thought it was pretty short, but Idk honestly

I’ve said it before, but if it wasn’t for all the “Square rep” rumors, would everyone still be automatically assuming Brave is Erdrick? Brave is super vague and could be anyone if you put the “Square rep” thing aside

I think it probably would've been brought up eventually.

Brave/Yuusha is apparently nigh-universally known as a Dragon Quest III reference in Japan, from what I've heard.

Concerning the statement I made earlier saying that Sakurai stated disliking K Rool's potential moveset, I have been unable to find any substantial evidence to back my claim. I'm either losing my mind or misheard/misread something. My sincerest apologies.

Sure. But I doubt everyone would be so overly certain that it’s Erdrick like they are now. I’m sure a lot more people would think be thinking a Bravely Default character, for example.

I would think a Bravely Default character would be a lot more unexpected then a Dragon Quest character

Oh, no doubt it'd be less expected. I just don't think it would be off everyone's radar either. It'd still probably be a part of the conversation. :p

with how little FF7 content in smash I'd rather NOT have another square rep to be honest

I wish the 4chan people would release the Steve model to the public.

I'd like to use it in SFM or whatever; it's actually decent looking and funny when it's not being used to torment people, and instead just having a normal face and pose.

although tbh I thought it looked funny otherwise albeit creepy as well when they were stretching its facial features.

The link pops up in threads every once in awhile. You just have to be lucky and catch it.

well tbh I kinda want to avoid going directly to 4chan because of the weird stuff they post sometimes, I just remember seeing stuff when people here posted links or the images themselves.

I guess I'll deal with it and see if I can find the download anywhere through searching, though...

/v/ tends to not be super terrible a lot of the time if you can get past the n-word, horrible things about trans people and obvious trolling. The janitors are normally pretty quick to get rid of the really bad stuff like porn and such. Avoid going at night though since that seems to be when all the janitors stop working and it's all just a mess.

Things have slowed down in here, and that might be for the better, but I'd like to get the ball rolling again.

I'm curious, what BK/BT worlds do you all find the easiest/hardest to 100%?

I recently replayed BK to 100% completion and Mad Monster Mansion was surprisingly easy and quick to finish. Rusty Bucket Bay was easily the hardest for me, though, even harder than Click Clock Wood. I didn't know there were windows on the boat you could break into for the longest time...

For BT, I find Witchyworld to be easier than the other worlds on average. That's relatively speaking, as to me all BT worlds take lot of effort to 100%. But I definitely find Grunty Industries to be the hardest world. It's just very tedious to get everything.

Much agree. I don't find anything really difficult in the original though, if you're playing on the XBOX. One and done collectables make a world of difference lol. As for Tooie, I feel like that game overall suffers a bit due to over-complication. I still love it to bits but some of the Jiggies have like zero hints on where they are, let alone how to get them. And that backtracking.....lol. But yeah, least enjoyable definitely goes to Grunty Industries, with honorable mention going to Hailfire Peaks.

I feel the same way, though I have a much harder time with Cloud Cuckoo Land. I love the music but jees that world is just all over the place. After Witchyworld the other worlds get a lot more difficult to explore. Hailfire peaks is a pain if you don't remember to take out the Dragon Brothers first.

Cloud Cuckooland was by far the most frustrating, not so much due to the level specifically, but Canary Mary's ridiculous rubber-band AI.

I didn't know about how to actually beat the rematch with her until I was in college and looked it up online 10 years after first beating it as a kid (non-100% of course since kid me had no clue as to beat Canary Mary).

Chaotic goofiness is Cloud Cuckoo Land's theme. It did it well and I have no issue with the stage.

Hailfire Peaks is a clever and enjoyable level, ruined by how difficult it is to do just about anything when the entire place is shooting at you. Even, in places, after beating the dragons.

At least you can get into the level without any trouble, though. Grunty Industries was the most annoying stage by far.

As for the first game, it has to be climbing the tree. The rest was all pretty doable.

Man I had to rematch Canary Mary like 7 years after my initial play through, when I was like 13 and what I did was pressing the A button like a madman, pause the game to rest a lot, then repeat and voilà. I think the only thing I needed help from another friend was how to make the train accesible to the cold part of hail fire peaks

The grinch leak wasn't real, or semi-real. The Ken in the mural image, while in a similar position is still completely different.

So, a coincidence.

Though I do wonder if there are any other characters it will have accidentally predicted.
Remember that Ken was legitimately leaked.

The grinch also didn't put Ken anywhere near the right spot, or have Incineroar or Piranha Plant. Isaac/Shadow are assists.

It was just a combination of being well thought out and executed, and a load of random occurrences seemed to back it up (a site malfunction, the company allegedly involved delisting videos etc). I believed it at the time, even despite hearing conflicting information as it seemed to have so much going for it. But it was most certainly not real.

Leakers on gamefaqs make me frustrated when they say what’s gonna happen instead of being a surprise

I still think Brave is Elderick but Brave’s stats are Banjo and we’re just being misled.

Or we’re just being misled in general and Brave is entirely Banjo. I mean one thing that keeps troubling me, is why would a close friend of Sakurai leak information like that in a tweet when he would know that Sakurai hates leaks?

Just food for thought as I still think it is Elderick until proven wrong.

I hate to admit it, but I used the cheat code chamber in Mayahem Temple in Banjo-Tooie to help make the game less tedious. Having the ability to traverse every world from the start helps cut down on the backtracking. And being able to unlock every move first before starting to collect all the Jiggies makes the game much simpler in my opinion. It's my personal favorite way to play the game, honestly. Although it still doesn't help with the Canary Mary race. I never had issues with completing any of the worlds in Banjo-Kazooie, even as a kid. A lot of it seemed pretty straightforward to me, although the Engine Room and poisonous water in Rusty Bucket Bay were suspenseful, as were trying to traverse the water in Treasure Trove Cove. Snacker is the stuff of nightmares and helped contribute to my fear of sharks D:
