Friends. I think it is time we truly take another look at Balloon Fighter.
He was considered for Melee, and ultimately not added in as a moveset could not be derived.

In that time, much has changed.
In his favor:
-Balloon Fighter received a full minigame, one of twelve, in "Nintendo Land," greatly increasing the popularity and availability of the series, which was already quite well known.
-More importantly, his creator, Iwata, passed away. Given all we know about Sakurai being respectful of his fellow colleagues, the close relationship he shared with Iwata, and Balloon Fighter being the main character created by Iwata, there is almost no way that Sakurai
-Move sets have gotten a lot more complex since Melee. As has the system. We have seen Sakurai add many characters he had considered in the past. This could be another option.

Against his favor:
-Villager took the up B. At least in the previous game.
-Difficult moveset, even if very unique is almost a guarantee.

So- what do you think?
