This sounds awesome. I've been looking for some local tournies for a while. I live in El Cerrito and the closest I've seen has been in San Jose. I can't wait.

This is unfortunate for me, as I had planned to go to The Mega Bowl ($10G Madden tourney) on this same weekend. Now I'll have to choose. Hopefully I can get some representation for Get Your Tournament to your event.

I'm a little disappointed to see Brawl doubles over Melee singles, but other than that, this tourney's gonna kick some major ***. I'll definitely be attending if I can.

Pot distrubution should be 60 30 10 so second place doesnt get jipped too badly.

you also need to have 1 melee stage as a neutral, the random will not allow you to have only brawl neutrals. Pokemon Stadium should be ur choice.

Your welcome. :)

70/20/10 is pretty standard, and this pot splits actually more like 66.5/20/10,
besides I don't think $600 is a jip for second place lol.

If youre talking about doubles, then I'm open to suggestion if thats what the
majority of people want!

Nevermind, I found the rules.
I for one think Norfair should be counter-pickable, but only in doubles. I think that's fair considering Pirate Ship has much worse environmental elements on it at times. (water spiking, cannonball kills, etc.)

Yea i agree... I have yet to see a brawl tourney where getting 2nd place pays out for 600 dollars.

As far as stage discussion goes, I think we should leave it to the SBR.
Nope, stage discussion in here is perfectly fine with me, i'm not a part of SBR so I have
no idea what they're saying in there anyways lol.

And as far as Lylat Cruise goes It doesn't have to be a counterpick, its borderline and the list is not final; it's basically a seizure educing version of battlefield anyways...

and PS: SPREAD THE WORD PEOPLE, THERE ISN'T MUCH TIME!

2 grand speaks for itself. It's already advertised in the Pac West forums, but people need to advertise on other regional boards. All you have to mention is the 2 grand first prize, and this'll be a national tournament in no time.

Nope, Its $2,000 First Place Guaranteed
No matter how many people enter the Prizes are like this for singles:

1st: $2,000
2nd: $600
3rd: $300

Doubles will be a pot split because it is not the "main event"
