The MC Clusky
Smash Lord
So I just got done reading the Melee 2013 in review article (It's awesome, go read it, there's already a thread for it).
Near the end of the article it mentions being able to play Melee in HD by way of the Avermeida LGP which was used to get over to an HD monitor.
It immediately peaked my interests because I own 2 ASUS already. If I was able to finally be done with CRTs I would do that in a second. They're far too much work to travel with to tournaments and smashfests.
Thing is, can someone explain to me exactly what device I need and how I would accomplish this? From what I understand from the website, it's a recording device, but it mentions only Wii U, PS3, and Xbox 360.
So here's what I need answered:
Do I need a Wii? Wii Component cables? Or is (What I own) a regular Gamecube with Composite (red, yellow, white) going to cut it?
How do I use it to connect to an ASUS monitor (or an HDTV for that matter)?
Big thanks to anyone who can help me. I was really surprised this wasn't a sticky.
