29. Megaman - with Mario and Megaman's efforts combined, platforming bliss existed on the NES and SNES for many years. Both the Megaman and Megaman X series were launched on Nintendo systems, to great critical success. Megaman is an extremely important part of Nintendo's history, and his absolutely HUGE history of moves would make for a very unique moveset.
30. Geno - yeah, that's right! I'm hoping Sakurai can appease everyone and put both Geno and Megaman in Brawl. According to the poll, a lot of people want him, and anything Sakurai said is obviously subject to change. It might not be very realistic, but here's hoping they both get in.

31. Captain Olimar - I really freakin' hope this little guy gets in. Great new franchise launched by Nintendo on the Gamecube, Olimar himself might not have a truckload of character but he would be very unique, and I would love to see this franchise get a little representation.
32. Animal Crossing MC - I don't even play Animal Crossing, but I think it'd just be fun to have him there, especially after seeing the AC stage with the goofy characters in the background. AC seems like a fun, lighthearted series, and whether the Famitsu interview is real or fake, it would be fun to have an awkward little guy running around with a net and pole and stuff. XD

34. Banjo-Kazooie - A series that debuted on the N64, I love these guys. They would be really comical and fun to have in Brawl, 3rd party status be ****ed. This is *MY* final roster and I want them in. XD What I want more than anything else is more new characters from new franchises, even if the Icon Theory doesn't support that. They would be great fun to have in there.
35. Elite Beat Agents - Just because. How awesome would it be to have a character who's attacks are based around dance moves? If you've never played the games, I reeaaally suggest you do - seeing them kick butt in Brawl with effortless dance moves would be hilarious. XD If they can save the world with music, they can fight with it in the arena!

Aaaaand other than that I don't really care, whatever. Everybody seems to want:

And I don't have a problem with any of those. I don't long for them to be in Brawl but whatever, they'd be neat additions.

All I ask for is unique, PROMINENT, IMPORTANT, STAR characters, preferrably from new, fresh franchises. Diversity, character and uniqueness are key to me. Tadaaa, there's my roster. :D

3. Sheik doesn't warrant being separate.

4. You can't imagine a character fighting with a shovel, but you can imagine a character fighting with bacon, a trampoline, and a bucket?

6. I don't think we need a separate trainer, but if we do, making them Water/Grass/Fire would be boring, and the Eeveelutions would be too similar to Squirtle/Ivysaur/Charizard (Hell, it may not have a grass type, but it has an electric type).

7. Banjo-Kazooie is literally impossible.

Luigi player:

1. Meh. Too small and missing too many.

1. Waaay too few veterans to newcomers. You need Marth, Young Link, and Mewtwo (and I see WW Link as a Newcomer, but he should be labelled an "overhauled veteran").

2. Zamus is a waste of a spot.

3. Not touching Isaac.

4. Mega Man has been deconfirmed (and I have been vindicated for when I told everyone that Mega Man was not in before the podcast even took place)

5. Lloyd has barely any chance.

6. Kamek is too minor to include.

7. Hasn't Sothe been confirmed to not be playable?

True. He actually does deserve it more, to be honest. That's pretty much why I didn't specify a character. He's probably the most likely, just not my most wanted, which is why I specified my preference in parenthesis.

Edit: But then again, I could argue that Midna has a greater potential to be a unique character. Young link would probably share moves with standard Link, whereas Midna would have moves unlike any other character. And then, there is Midna's little secret at the end of the game. That could easily be a final smash.

This list makes a gran total of 40 Selectable Characters, with 45 different movesets. I know it's a bit of a stretch, and that some characters are more deserving, but this is what my list looks like at the moment. Think of it more as a wishlist instead.

Mario Series:

-Geno or Bowser Jr. (I would prefer Geno)

Comments: I really think that 5 mario reps is enough. 6 is possible, and i would (most would) prefer it myself, but the character amount isn't like 50, so i decided to cut to either Geno or BJ as newcomer. Luigi is pretty obvious.

Zelda series:
-Link
-Zelda
-Ganondorf
-Vaati, Midna or WW Link

Comments: I can't think of more than 6 possible characters. And the most appealing to me is Vaati. he is a villain, and brawl needs more of 'em. Midna has only starred in 1 game. WW Link doesn't appeal to me very much. But he has chances as much as Vaati. I think Midna would be a great AT.

Yoshi series:
Yoshi

Comments: Yoshi series isn't big enough as its own series, so I think Kamek has lovely chances as an AT or Boss in SSE. Sorry Kamek-fans

Metroid series:
-Samus
-ZSS
-Ridley

Comments: Out of Dark Samus and Ridley, I chose Ridley. Because he has been in WAY more games, and Samus has a personal grudge against him. Tho Dark Samus also has pretty good char, because imo Metroid deserves 3 reps (I really don't count ZSS as a rep). So Either Ridley only, or Ds with him.

Wario series:
-Wario

Comments: No Ashley. Just because she has her theme in the game, doesn't mean shes a char. Good AT material perhaps.

DK series:
-DK
-Diddy
-K.Rool

Comments: K.Rool has pretty good chances as a char. He is heavyweight, and is a bad guy. Brawl needs both. Now that we have 2 kings already, the third would one would be awesome also =)

Kirby series:
-Kirby
-Meta Knight
-King Dedede

No comments really. Sakurai added the most remarkable chars already. Nice.

Fire-Emblem series:
-Marth
-Ike
-Micaiah

Comments: Marth is pretty reasonable. He is the main char in the first FE, and some others also. Ike is confirmed, and Micaiah is female char, that Brawl needs, so i don't see a reason not adding her, as Lyn is an AT.
No Black Knight. Sorry ppl. Imo, he would be too much like Ike in weight and jumping etc. Tho, he would have a cool moveset. Boss for SSE perhaps
NOTE: I don't know much about FE-series, so this is my opinion.

Pokemon series:
-Pikachu
-Pokemon Trainer
-Mewtwo
-Jigglypuff
-Lucario

Comments: Mewtwo is pretty reasonable. He is a'' bad guy'' and Brawl need them (again). Lucario would also be a great addition, because of his popularity and fighting style. Jiggs is pretty much confirmed, as he was in the 2 previous installments.
So we would have 5 pokemon reps. Sounds good to me

Retro-chars:
-Ice Climbers
-G&W

Comments: No Sukapon. Sakurai has shown a ''dislike''for him, so i don't see him coming. Takamaru is Japan only and starred in one game. Chances are pretty tiny imo.

Starfox-series:
-Fox
-Falco
-Krystal
-(Wolf)

Comments: Falco is the luigi for starfox. Krystal is a female and important to the series.
Wolf would be a great addition imo. They could make him a very different moveset from Fox's one. But they could also make him an AT or Boss (perhaps unlockable one?). IDK

Other series':
-C.Falcon
-Pit
-Olimar 37
-Lucas
-Isaac

Comments: No Lip, no black shadow... I don't see them coming. Olimar is the only one that is pretty remarkable.

And last, but far from least...

3rd party:

Comments: Megaman, is basically deconfirmed already. Bomberman has slight chances.

Thanks, but i'm not sure whether a yoshi rep is needed. At least, he could be a boss or an AT. That's my opinion

In the past, I supported Bowser Jr. and didn't care at all for Geno. While I'm not a hardcore Geno supporter like others, I prefer him over Bowser Jr. Five reps is really all Mario needs, and if you count Wario and Yoshi we've got 7.

I know lots of people hate Wolf, but if Star Fox can have three reps, there's no reason to only get protagonists as long as Wolf is a potential Brawl character. While I don't have anything against him, when you think about it, Falco isn't as important to the series as many people believe.

Brawler:

1. Bowser Jr. over Geno - Jr. is actually a fixture of the Mario series.

2. Nothing wrong with five Zelda characters.

3. Zamus doesn't need a slot.

4. Put Mona under Wario.

5. Consider Eliwood - he's really the only character left to represent the first English Lords.

6. No new retro characters is bad. What about Mike Jones - very popular character, Muddy Mole, one of Miyamoto's least known characters, or Takamaru, star of a game that Sakurai is a fan of?

7. Why not Lip? She's the star of a well-loved video game franchise. You also forgot Ray MK, an Advance Wars rep, and Animal Crosser.

8. You need a DS rep.

White Lightning:

1. Bowser Jr. is a regular fixture of Mario, and has been the major boss in two of them. People need to understand that.

2. Why? Sheik is a transformation of Zelda. We need a Wind Waker Link to represent a major group of Zelda games.

3. Falco over Wolf if he's in; Falco is more unique.

4. Second Wario rep. please.

5. I'd rather see Eliwood than Micaiah.

6. You forgot an AC and DS rep.

7. Needs more Muddy Mole, Olimar, Lip, Mike Jones, an Advance Wars rep, and Ray MK.

Leviathan:

1. Needs Mona from WarioWare - the series is extremely popular right now.

2. How could you even begin to consider WW Link a downgrade from Young Link? The most common version of Link in the series' history, a ton of potential moveset options, and the current Link.

3. Skull Kid is way outdated.

4. Why was that his chance? He wouldn't have been in if it weren't for clones. He's never had a chance to be different.

5. There's no way Jigglypuff wouldn't get in. Jigglypuff is too popular.

6. Many people would be disappointed w/o Marth - the FE logo is his sword, he's been in two games, is appearing in the next FE game (for the DS), and SSBB-wise, Ike is slow and heavy, Marth is fast and light.

7. Needs Muddy Mole, Mike Jones, and Takamaru.

8. I doubt we'll get any Capcom characters.

9. No. Banjo will not - nay, cannot - get in.

Remember, people - argue your roster, not state it.

Zoda was put into F-Zero by a different developer, and his games were reasonably popular in North America. People and developers still remember StarTropics, and on top of that, we've already seen Zoda's trophy in Brawl.
