I'll probably look up certain new characters and stages, but pretty much draw the line there. I want to leave some surprise for when I actually play the game, especially when it comes to items, assist trophies, and anything involving the Subspace Emissary.

the japan and us release date are about 2-3 weeks apart.... my plan is to freeze myself until the us release date.... and then not go t school for a good month

Surprises are nice but i cant resist finding out all the characters in the game and all the stages. I guess when i see the characters on the internet ill be suprised anyways so who cares.

Exactly, all three of you. We all want to know "Who's In?", who's out, and who's what. We want to see which veterans will return, how shoe-in characters look in Brawl, what original concept/random characters we get (Ness, Captain Falcon, Mr. Game and Watch, the Ice Climbers, and the Pokémon Trainer), and what other characters join the fray. O, and 3rd party characters, and how all veterans change! SOOOOO MUCH STUFF!!! It's like I'm unlocking them by clicking on my mouse!
The surprise is when we first find out. ON THE INTERNET!
We have a forum mask that does that for the smash blog. They can just stay on the smash blog in the non spoiler revealance areas. And if the smashboards was willing to do that, we'd all just up and leave, go to GameFAQs or something, and never come back. It's bad business, and a not very smart idea for a forum, especially of this size.
Exactly. WE ALL WANNA KNOW! I want to know ASAP! That way I know who I like by looking at them, who's in, how everyone looks (physically), how the Subspace Emissary plays, and so on. It's not spoilers in my opinion-it's information about the game. It's not a spoiler for who's in the latest Street Fighter or Dragon Ball Z game, so I don't see it that way with Brawl!
