I play competitively with the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and also the Nebraska club team, Bonehorn, as well as the Omaha summer league.

Haha I'm talking about Ultimate Frisbee. Hence, the teams and leagues that I'm in. I don't blame you for not knowing what I was referring to, since you're not a player.

Here's video of a team I played with this summer.

And here's on the national level.

Holy hot damn! PoNY?!? I'm not familiar with Empire. Think you have a good chance of making it?

I'm the bearded #42 in the first video above. Got any videos of yourself?

That's a pretty sweet video!! And I think I have a shot at making it, I'm only a sophomore so I'm taking it as a learning experience more than anything haha

I wear #94 "Raichu"

The beginning of this video is pretty slow, but I am wearing the GoPro from 2:25-2:40 and then at 2:55, I'm receiving the dump and throwing the low release flick.

We don't have too many videos, we are hoping to film a lot more this semester.
Are you going to Apex?

That's as good a reason as any to try out. I was fortunate to have one AMAZING player/coach that taught me the sport 3+ years ago when I entered college. Did you play in high school? I'll for sure watch that video later, because I'm at work right now.

I'm not going to Apex, unfortunately. I live in the midwest, and don't know anyone around here that's going. What smash do you play? I play mostly Project M.

Yeah I started my high school team and have been playing since I was a sophomore in high school. It's the greatest sport in the world! haha

I only play ssb64 as of right now, but I have been thinking of getting into Melee and Project M more recently.

Ok I was able to watch those points that you highlighted, and after noticing your form on that IO, I was able to answer my own question: yes, you definitely played in high school! In my video I throw goals at :10, :26, 2:15, 3:10, 3:45 (almost), and 4:25. I catch goals at 1:00, 1:40, 2:25, and 3:25. And there's a D at 1:56. Granted, it's mixed ultimate, so take that for what it's worth.

My college team is pretty average, though we got wins over Illinois and Kansas in the past year, so we're on the up and up. As for open club, we started our team in 2012 and made regionals both years in the North Central.

I'm way more passionate about Ultimate than Smash, honestly. But I've been lazy lately, so I've been playing a lot more Smash haha

Me too! I've been playing Ultimate for 4+ years and I've only been playing smash for about one. My Ultimate team at school actually got me into smash haha

We're trying to go to D-III Nationals this year, we have come up just short the last two years so we are putting in some serious work this spring!

Sweet. Didn't know you were D-III, UNO where I go is D-1. One of my best friends plays for JBU, and went to D-III natties this past year. They returned everyone from last year's team, so they should be making a run again! Maybe you'll play them! Who are the good teams from your region that usually make it to natties?

I've heard of Middlebury, they used to make D-1 nationals before switching to D-III. How do you match up against those 3 teams? JBU's goal is to win it all this year.

we go back and forth with Fredonia, we haven't faced Bentley this season, and we traded points pretty well with Middlebury.

We look really good for this year because we have 15 rookies that are all pretty talented and eager to learn! The spring will be exciting for us!

Good stuff! We're returning everyone and have a few promising young guys, but even so, our team hardly reaches 15 people
We struggle with numbers at practice and tournaments, so that's why we underperform.
