Any chance of seeing Mona playable?

I'd love to see this girl in Brawl.

Her attacks wouldn't be that hard to come up with. They'd be as strange as her minigames, and I read on an official Nintendo site somewhere that she enjoys kickboxing, so that's got her A moves covered.

I imagine her B moves would include tossing out pizza slices (ala Game and Watch's sausages), twirling her baton, riding her scooter or whipping out one of her weird pets to pelt enemies with soccer balls and peanuts. She'd eat gelato cutely in one of her taunts, and her Final Smash would be whipping out her guitar and killing everyone with rock music.

Oh man, seeing her in the game would be a dream come true. I think WarioWare definitely needs another unique representation, and I'd prefer Mona over the other characters, because in addition to having the most funny and weird games of all, she's also arguably the most unique character in WarioWare, in addition to being really cute.

Mona would be better than Ashley, she is more important in WarioWare

Mona>jimmy T.>ashley, Mona appears to be the second most important character in the series (as she is wario's love interest). I think she would be a cool addition, but I dont think we will get a second wario rep this go around.

due to populatiry of course...
and the ever so famous "ashley song"

Yeah, you're completely wrong about that. "Mona Pizza" is just as popular a song if not MORE popular than Ashley's theme. It's almost a definitive theme for the entire WarioWare series.

And I don't see how 9-Volt could contribute anything to the game, nor do I see how he's even remotely as popular as Mona. His attacks would be pure fanservice, which I think this game has enough of. It needs to stop focusing on sight gags and start focusing on gameplay.

I'm going to come clean, it's not my style to troll, so I apologize for my trolling. Even though I hate Mona, I know she is the second most important WarioWare character, and Wario's love interest, which is weird since she is like a teenage girl, while Wario is a middle-aged man, but oh well. If she makes it and not Ashley, hey, it's all about importance right?

your right that is kinda creepy. But yeah she is the most important but wario probably isn't getting any more reps.

For some reason Wario doesn't seem old to me anymore. He just seems fat and slovenly and his mustache makes him seem old.

Mario, though. That dude's definitely old. And Peach and Rosalina look like twelve year olds. If anyone is creepy then it's definitely him. At least Mona looks mature for her age if she's a high school girl (those gotta be at least D-cups), unlike those other girls.

Why are you even discussing that?

In all likelihood, Mona will get in as a second rep if a second rep is in at all. After that it's a tie between Ashley, Jimmy, 9-Volt, and maybe Kat and Anna.

But I think we're looking this too far simply because Wario is in his Ware costume. The W icon might also represent Wario Land, and the likes of Captain Syrup, Princess Shokora, the Golden Diva and Rudy the Clown can't exactly be overlooked.

I don't give a **** if you weren't being serious, please, keep your ******** jokes to yourself.

WarioWare characters are terrible fillers who deserve absolutely nothing.

Why would Sakurai but such a lame representative for the series? Seriously, she's a cheerleader who delivers pizza. Ashley, Kat and Ana, and 9 Volt all are much better choices.

Because I'm a heterosexual male?

Personally, if Warioland gets any representation, I'd like it to simply be Classic Wario as a playable character instead of any of those characters. Yes, those guys are great, don't get me wrong, but I'd prefer to see a Wario who isn't just a stupid comic relief character. I think they ruined him with this "lol farts" crap, and I'd like to play as the REAL Wario who morphs into stuff and wears hats that give him different powers.

Imagine morphing into a snowball and ploughing into people, or Wario setting himself on fire, then charging into others and covering them in flames. That'd be bliss.

Why would Sakurai care about a crappy little witch girl? She's just a ***** in a red dress who does magic. Ooh, exciting.

Face it people. Mona is the ONLY WarioWare character with a chance, and she has a decent one too. If you can put your fanboy/girlism aside for just a moment, you can see she has far more game relevance than any other of the developers.

I almost feel a little bad for the Ashley fans who have convinced themselves she stands a chance. They're setting themselves up for a huge disappointment. She was in ONE game at the time that the roster was being decided (mid 2006). Even if she had been in 2, her fanbase would not have been enough. A character who appeared in 2 games will not get in over characters that appeared in all 5.

Ashley's an emo/gothic/satanic ***** who uses Red as a sex toy.

OH NO! I DOUSED THE FIRE!

Mona is the Love interest of Wario, thus making her much more likely than any other of those fillers.

Because Mona is the most talented and worldly of any WarioWare character? I mean, seriously, she has her own successful pizza restaurant, she plays in a band, she's super athletic, she's a famous songwriter/cheerleader, she has no problems outrunning/killing police officers on her scooter...

Ashley doesn't do anything but stay home and be creepy all day, 9-volt is just some schoolkid who doesn't do anything but play Nintendo, and Kat & Ana... okay, they're fine, but I still think Mona's a better choice simply due to the variety she's likely to have.
