Wario Wario Wario
Smash Legend
Smash 64, but on PS1 instead. Don't need some elaborate backstory.
Simple rules:
Same roster number as Smash 64 (8 starters, 4 unlockables)
All characters must've had games on the PS1, given the PS1 relied heavily on third parties they can be from either Sony or external sources. Characters who DEBUTED on the PS2 are not allowed, even if they did have a PS1 game later down the line - but if they appeared simultaneously on both platforms, debuted on the PS1 after the release of the PS2, or went on to have PS2 and onward roles after their PS1 or earlier debut that's fine.
You can make rosters for Melee, Brawl, 3DS/Wii U and Ultimate if you want, and in the case of these rosters even include non-PS characters (like say, Mario or Master Chief) if you desire (but still no licensed games, sorry SpongeBob and Tony Hawk fans)
Here's my roster:
Starters:
Crash Bandicoot
Lara Croft
Spyro
PaRappa the Rapper
Chris Redfield
Sweet Tooth
Heihachi
Spike (Ape Escape)
Unlockables:
Dr. Neo Cortex
UmJammer Lammy
Sir Daniel
Klonoa
