That Direct cleared up the majority of my concerns about the Island setting, and now I'm really excited. Only downside is the weirdly convoluted save system.

Here's to a gentler, kinder Tom Nook who won't break your kneecaps.

One thing I am hoping for is two huge updates. One that adds the furniture from Pocket Camp, and one that adds new species of villagers. Namely I’d love bat, seal, and female lion villagers.

i just change my majorly for a modern looking island to a natural looking one and in the process how Silvia and Audie as new move ins replacing Bianca and Becky

Audie is my favorite villager in the whole game, and she's on my island too. :D

I started terraforming, made some progress.. .
The town square area is set up but doesn't have outdoor furniture yet. And I need to lay out the paths for the lil village areas I have planned. It's the weekend so maybe I'll get it done
